And for the record she is amazing and her work for these dogs are amazing. She quit her job and sold her house to be there helping the dogs. She has no money and she defintly dont earn money on this!
This program is false. Its from Sweden and after this show was sent it came forward that all of the blamings against Julie rescue was false. She has neighboors that wants her to move because of all the noise. And the dogs that they says are sick that she sent to Sweden never were. After the program a veterinarian looked at the dog and saw that the dog wasnt sick. The dog was only allergic. She work almost by herself how can she possibly pick up after all these dogs by herself?
this is just bull shit, i have adopted a dog from her and there is no problems with him. its just bullshit.. she take so good care of the dogs, more then the rest of the pepole in spain!!! the dog i have adopted is a helthy happy dog, this is so bullshit!!
julie does a perfect job, julie takes such good care of her dogs, this is just bullshit!!!!

tests must be done, and those can take from 2 up to 6 months to have the results.
-24 hours before departure, the vet must deworm the animal and must do a final check up.
-A pet that has been operated will not travel until the stiches are gone...
I could write a long etc of "mistakes"...this has not been a mistake, has been thought to get as much as possible, and I honestly don´t care about money, but I care for the dog´s health and situation.
Humans can make misakes, of course, but in this case to fake a blood test result is not a mistake, is done with the intention to make people believe that a dog is healthy when the dog has not even been checked!
I´ve been acused by you, and I am not going to tolerate that you put in my mouth words I´ve never said. Stop living your own lie. Don´t you understand the real problem here? FAKE documents, fake blood results...a vet that signs a passport and do not inspect the health of the dog...
Honestly, this conversation isn't going anywhere. You're entitled to have your own opinion, but I think people go a little to far blaming Julie for all of the dogs suffering. Knowing Spain, this would have continued without her, or until another passionate woman took her place. I'm sick of all the shit this woman recieves and honestly I think you all should treat her as a human being. She's not a murderer, she hasn't abused anyone, etc. I'm through with trying to talk to you narrowminded folk.
So far I have not been pushing any opinion on people, just translated the program and let people judge for themselves. I am very happy that you are writing, it shows clearly that only very narrow minded people are still supporting Julie and they are still attacking other ones to defend themselves and still using the dogs as an excuse for everything that has been done.
Take a moment to rethink what you just typed. Am I considered everyone who supports Julie? And you should know I did not accuse you or everyone of being narrowminded. It's frustrating that some people believe only one side of the story and do not consider the fact that it might be grey instead of black and white. And of course, those who support the 'bad guy' are the ones who attack the ones that oppose him/her. I do not intend to continue this 'debate', seeing as supporting Julie isn't good.
2- yeah, sure, narrowminded folk....why? because I don´t buy the bullshit you are telling us?
I been discussing every point you came up with and your final answer is that we are narrowminded...good argumentation when you have nothing else to say!
- dogs were treated as merchandise
- save a dog means also to care for the dog, not just selling the dog and bye bye
- dogs needed atention and a REAL blood test and that I doubt it happened.
I'm just going to clarify that I'm not going to continue this arguement. I don't think showing my opinion is going anywhere. My intentions were to ask people to take a step back and breathe out and rethink the fact that Julie is only human. And also, I'm not accusing you of anything you didn't say. Have good day.
Luminuous.....just listen to the interview (part 6), she says that was no stop from Spain to Sweden.
Learning from mistakes? not having money and that is why dogs are driven up to sweden in a van? sorry, i don´t buy that picture. First because each dog is adopted for almost 500 euros, make the numbers! enought to fly up all the dogs in airplane. Don´t try to defend what is undefendable please.
I don't understand, what do you guys expect from an organisation such as this? It's not a Swedish kennel for Gods sake. Everyone here are just so used to luxuries that they forget that not everyone can behave or purchase the same things. But I understand what you're saying; You'd rather the dogs starve to death on the streets, or maybe have a disease that kills them off slowly. If we let that happen, no one is to blame, seeing as it's a lot worse being cramped up in a van awaiting a better life.
1- I am not comparing Julie´s shelter with a Swedish Kennel, I am comparing it with other spanish shelters that are well taken care of, where dogs are in their kennels and have a dog house to sleep minimum.
2- Do not lie about my comments. I never wrote that dogs must die in the streets, but after your comment I rather say that it is worst being sofocated in a van, as those dogs could have ended up.
Who cares is Julie becomes a millioner? The problem is the lack of care and how to handle a dog, sick or healthy and how dogs were transported in a van so many miles. That has been the worst in my opinion and I am sure that more people who cares for dogs agree with this point. The Swedish volunteers are also to blame. I would not let a sick dog "rotten from the insideout", I would not let a van full of dogs travel 4000km, I would have informed the authorities instead of calling a tv program.
I do agree that Julie has water over her head, but when you think about it, do these dogs have it worse with Julie than on the streets? Getting transported in a van for approximately 4000km is not worse than the dogs starving to death on the streets, shunned by the spanish people. I myself would rather that they did everything they could have to avoided it, but sometimes extremes have to be taken, since nobody else cares about these dogs. It's very depressing when you think about it.
Torture is when you inflict pain and suffering with purpose. The van ride was obviously done in good will and sometimes that's what we have to focus on. Driving 4000km without stopping is quite difficult, especially when you have dogs with you. They must have gotten exercise semi regularly, seeing as the cages would otherwise have been filled with dog feces.
And you have to remember, Julie doesn't have a lot of money to spend. Also, they have stated that they've learnt from this mistake.
II don´t believe a word that this Julie is saying. When will she learn that you can´t blame everybody else for things that she has done. She must be a very bad person.
How do you know that for sure? Have you met her? You're being ignorant, thinking that Uppdrag Granskning is showing everything without being ridiculously angled. This program doesn't give a crap about the dogs, it's about the money, from Swedes. If Julie was such a horrible person, why would she dedicate her life helping stray dogs when she could be a lawyer or something else? The disease they talk about is nonsense. Especially when humans come and go in different countries, EVERY DAY.
This woman doing anything for money. She doesn't love dogs - she destroys dog. And yes, I have met her. She is the worst human beeing I have ever met!!!!!
Your post is just filled to the brim with ignorance. I don't know what you have against her, but if she didn't love dogs they would still be on the streets of Almuñecar.
An association must have an account book in order. There is no excuse for not having it.
How can we trust someone that doesn't know how much money is spending?
I know mantaining a shelter is espensive, but that is no excuse

BTW, I happen to know a dog from Julie, a dog who is "healthy" in the outside but unfortunately, on Monday, he showed positive in leishmania.
My question, and I hope to get an honest answer:
- has ever been taken blood samples for the leishmania, erlichia and filaria of the REAL DOG?
Because this poor dog, had also erlichia...
It is very dangerous to play with the life of an animal and even more to play with the emotions of people.
One save a dog by CURING THE DOG not just picking him up.

4000 km cramped in a van, without stop is not nimal care, that I call torture. An airplene ticket for a dog costs 60 Euros with SAS.....
