You barely see Stefan in this vid, but in the bits where you do see both of them, Karis is definitely the more flashy hooper. He's hooping for the crowd, Stefan seems to be hooping more for himself.

My humble opinion is that Karis is cool but you can see these tricks on every second hoop video, even though he does them very well. Stefan, however, either had a bad day or he is still developing his style but some of the tricks he attempted to do were quite impressive. In particular I liked ankle hooping and the way he threw the hoop up and then tried to re-propel again. I would like to find a tutorial on how to do this.

Yeh, Karis is skilled but Stefan is definitely the more innovative hooper. I believe this video is really old and it looks like it was a really bad day for Stefan (or the video/editing just didn't do him justice).

even if he is being a little bit flamboyant, mostly he's just flowing with the movements. it's like fish in the water, he's moving the the hoop and the hoop is moving with him! I think it's fabulous! Talk about a workout!
