  • I think that you are completely correct Mikey. I have checked up on the guy and found several sources stating that he is

6'9" tall and that his weight usually is around 380 lbs.

  • I have heard that he is 6'7" (201 cm) and about 382 lbs (173 kg)

  • i think hes nearly 6 foot 9 or sumit redicolous!

  • that 400 clean and jerk was so pleasurable to watch, so skillful, makes it look so easy

  • BULGARIAN POWER

  • @LUTENICAfan Bulgarian doping

  • that 400 pund c&j was frighteningly easy

  • to just rip that to your shoulders without even having to drop under it all, is just amazing. god bless him.

  • made in bulgaria

  • Bulgarian powerrrrrrr.....

  • very impressive

  • I wish this style of lifting was more popular - powerlifting is just so boring.

  • YES!!!! someone agrees with me. this discipline is amazing, powerlifting is boring as fuck.

  • Not only boring, it's gay as fuck - where the hell is fun in seeing a guy wrapped in bandages like a mummy, lifting the bar for like 100 cm in slo mo - totally overrated!

  • i also hate that its dominate in america, i wish olympic lifting was bigger in american, escpecialy in south dakota.

  • That's because you don't have any stars in this sport - sadly, the greay heritage had dissipated a long time ago.

In Europe it's more popular - our only big star is Simon Kolecki, and he is just about enough to spark some interest - after Beijing people took notice of the old champion, and hopefully something like that will happen in your country too - you just need one star - look at Hamman, the guy is totally average, and he still get publicity...

  • not really, i didn't know who shane hamman was till the bejing games. in europe really big stars were pyrros dimas, kakhi kakhiasvilli, and pocket hurceles. im trying to get this sport off the ground but its hard.

  • good powerlifting is not boring. scott mendelsons 715 raw bench was not bullshit, unlike the equipped world record bench. raw powelfiting is not boring

  • he's 6'9"/160kg. holy s***

  • he's not 6'9 lol

  • I've heard 6'8" and 6'9". I go with the taller height: its more fun.

  • Lol, but really he's like 6'6..

  • Nope - he really is 6'9"!

  • Holy crap! That power clean surprised me. What a giant!

  • AWSOME , GREAT CONCEPT !

Australia should do this in Westfields with some Russian,Polish or Bulgerian weightlifters.

  • WOW GREAT FOOTAGE!!!! love it haha
