I truly love it and its one of my favorites because of the chorus but little did I know that they were singing in latin.

I ac2lly sang Mozart's Requiem wv my mum on a choral day 3 yrs ago, & it was BRILLIANT. N fact, it's 1 of my favourite choral pieces of ALL time. & Evanescence hav done justice t th 'Lacrimosa' part, evn tho they didn't ac2lly sing it...But, could any1 else hav done it bettr? it's generally spelt with an "I", I can ony assume that they used the y to make it sound more gothic, plus lacrimosa is latin for "weeping", commonly associated with the vampire mythos, due to bleeding being similar in nature to heavy tears. I'd say it's just a nod towards the goth community, although who can tell except the writer? sorry to not be much help here.
