You could have internet out there. Have satellite installed on Dave's building (since I doubt they'd do it on the trailer since I doubt it's a separate address), then use a directional wifi antenna to beam it out towards the trailer. Lots of people setup long-distance wifi on their farms and stuff. There's other wireless internet technologies like Wi-max too, if you have any fixed-wireless ISPs in your area. All comes down to what you can afford, which is always a factor too of course.
