    Stewart

  • @hollpoll thanks Stewart

  • Brilliant miniature railway, beautifully filmed. What a lucky chap you are to have a truly exhibition quality layout in your loft. Simply superb!

  • @PineTreeJunction thank you for your very kind comment, not quite the quality that you produce, but I keep trying

    Dave

  • @howarth004 Hi Dave, Thanks for getting back. The trouble with Pine Tree Junction is that it rains, snows and you keep getting huge leaves and apples on the line. You have to spend at least half an hour clearing the track before you can do any serious filming. Having a controlled environment, like your loft, must be heaven. Anyway, this hobby of ours is great fun and I wouldn't be without it. Keeps you sane in retirement! Keep turning out your great videos and we will do our best here on PTJ!

  • @PineTreeJunction As I have said in my video`s with the garden and fish ..Roll on summer...e got 1 week of it and since then just wind wind and more wind, which as you say is no good for making a video in the garden.

All the best with your next production

    Dave

  • @howarth004 Great. The PTJ team were down here yesterday planning our next few videos. We are all off to Charnwood Forest Garden Railway this weekend so another video soon. Also, we are planning our next disaster video. If all goes to plan, it will involve lots of smoke, fast cuts, dramatic music and loud bangs. Great fun. Keep filming!

  • @PineTreeJunction Look forward to it, by the way think you should pass on the problem of apples on the line to some of the Railway Company`s , they have not used that yet???

  • @howarth004 Now there's a thought! Keep chuffing!

  • fantastic video mate.i like the sound 37.

  • @bloodmarine77 thanks , that was one of Olivia`s with there sound added

  • Excellent as ever Dave! Your layout is superb!!!

  • @60007SirNigelGresley Thank you Frank, got bored yesterday so thought i would do a short vid , no changes latly though or additions , (no money)

  • @howarth004 money, always a problem! Your layout do not need any changes, but I know exactly what you mean

  • @60007SirNigelGresley It can get in the way , problem is whenever I see new items , I want them. O Well we can all have a wish list.

  • @howarth004 oh yes Dave. It's the same with me ;-)

  • Hi. Which is the decoder of Class 108? Howes?

    Nice video.

    Regards from Brazil.

  • @BRCrail No it was from Olivia`s of Sheffield , they put there sound on, they do advertise and are on the web, thanks

    Dave

  • good video Dave, I enjoy seeing your trains

  • @pwalpar Thanks Walter, not the real thing , but don`t have to travel far

  • Always a pleasure.

  • @chiconian49 Glad you enjoy them.

  • Hi Dave from Christchurch, New Zealand. I thoroughly enjoyed your video of your layout. It must have taken hours and hours of work to get it to the stage it is at now! Do you run your trains run to a timetable? Thanks for sharing.

  • @orinbay No timetables here , never know the time of day these day`s ? Thanks for watching , the railway has taken me 3 years to complete , done mostly during the winter evenings, how long you been living in New Zealand,? you have some beautifull countryside there, it is the one place I would move to if I was younger.

  • @howarth004 Hi I moved to New Zealand with my family when I was 10 years old. We moved from the slums of Liverpool to the beauty of Nelson at the top of the South Island. I would recommend this place to anyone thinking of moving to NZ to live. I'm now well into my 50's!

  • Hi Dave, Great video, if my own layout ends up looking as half as good as yours i'll be a happy man, looking forward to your next layout video.

  • @berlina1000 thank you Michael, keep with it and you will get there , only problem is it is easy to get carried away, but most enjoyable hobby, now you winter is comming you will be able to spend more time on your layout.

    regards

    Dave

  • MOST WONDERFUL VIDEO!! I truly love it... wish I were small enough to be sitting there, watching all those trains go by!

Thanks for sharing your magnificent layout with us!

  • @gusneaker Thanks Gus , a long way for you to come to watch . you have model railway shops in Argentina?

  • @howarth004 LOL... yeah, I know... It was just a wishing expression. When I said "small enough", I meant to fit INSIDE your layout! Ha ha...!!!

We do have model shops here, and there are also model makers who modify or build from scratch different Argentine train models.

FRATESCHI is a Brazilian model train company that makes similar versions of our GM G-22 and G-12, but they make them in 00 scale, so they look a little bigger than they are.

    Greetings!

  • @gusneaker THANK YOU FOR THAT INFO GUS

  • Otro buen paseo...!!!

  • @Branch170 Thank you , a pleasure

  • Excellent video, loads of action! :)

  • @tpe18509 thanks , yes I like to keep them moving

  • i like your layout how long did it take to build it

  • @SuperWin87 Thanks, it took me 3 years of winter evenings, labour of love , as they say

  • Excellent, the layout is fantastic. keep up the good work Dave

  • @drdexter thank you very much for your kind comment, not sure what to do with it next,?

  • Great Vid! Looking excellent! Thinking of getting the Bachmann 2 car blue/grey DMU next. :)

  • @BritishRailways60163 Thank you, you will have noticed I have the DMU 108 from Bachmann , it is a nice looking piece

  • Nice as always, I recntly bought a Dynamis, what decoders do you use for the Pulmann carriages

  • @scotrail47 Thank you , if you mean for the light in the Pulmann , they do not use a decoder , the pick up is from the track, the lights where fitted when I bought the coaches, unfortunatly they have got expensive now.

  • Exellent dave, love looking at your layout, iv got the task of ripping up all my track and replacing it with peco 100 , at the same time im putting in some more board so i can get three tracks round with the freight line leading into a big fiddle yard, gonna get some track setta and do it properly this time, i have a lot of mixed track down at the mo and not working very well, will get done properly this time, thanks and a pleasure looking at it, yours & kered43 the2 best layouts on here....hugh

  • @wattass7 glad you liked the video, best of luck with your new layout, when I started I kept changing things , finding problems etc., but all part of the fun , and flustration, but you get there in the end.best of Luck with it Hugh

  • Great video mate :D

  • @theLEGOcommander1 thank you , keep trying to bring something new in to them.

  • Nice one Dave some lovely shots of both trains and your layout Derek

  • @kered43 Thanks Derek, running short of idea`s though now, time for thinking hat on.
