Received the Richard solo and gave it a good charge. This thing is perfect have been using it for 2 days now so far it's charged my iPhone from dead to a full charge 3 times. Once again great video this was a very wise investment for me being that I am using my Iphone pretty much the whole day now no worries about not being able to use my iPhone for the entire day. why don't you just carry a mini USB charger from Apple. Its way smaller and it you don't have a wall outlet all you do is plug it in your Macbook via USB.

I paid $59.95 shipping was free. you can search imp500 on ebay if you're interested in purchasing it. it comes with iphone connector and mini usb connector. you can charge any device that uses mini usb to charge. capacity is huge. 5000mAh. 400% of iphone battery life. charges my iphone in about 1 hour and external battery pack gives up to 38 hours of video/internet on iphone. its the best.

I would put this in the "Nice, but not mandatory" catagory. When I first got my iphone I ran out of battery life quick. But that was because it was new and I was always playing with it and changing settings. As long as you place it on the charger/or dock every night than you should be good to go. For $15, you can charge in the car and get the same thing. Just my opinion though.
No that wire only has power. It's for charging only. I have the 1200 and tryed to use that cable for transfering from a camera and it didn't work. The USB standard has one line for power and I think that is all this has in it.
Yea, I have only completely lost charge 1 time since I got my phone... at about 10pm.. almost made it full day... That is cool but again, for $89 you could have may other solutions for charging, its not that small really...
Strange, my battery life is really amazing. It used to be crappy then it just became a lot better, I use my iPhone 3G a lot every day, at least 3 solid hours of video and audio and internet surfing, and I charge it every second day , I hit 20% at the end of the second day

I really wish these external batteries would bend around the bottom and fit against the back of the phone so I could use it and the phone at the same time if I wanted to without it hanging off the bottom.
I'm actually looking to get the external battery from Just Mobile. You should check it out. Just Mobile Gum. Cheaper than other companies. $40/$60, for 2200mah and 4400mah. Much better for the money, since even the smaller $40 one is more juice than the richard solo 1800.
I want to get this but i dont know if I need it. I dont use my iPhone SOOO much but it would be nice for trips since my parents car doesnt have a usb, and when i go camping for the weekend this would be awesome, I guess i got to save up :)

Yea, I have only completely lost charge 1 time since I got my phone... at about 10pm.. almost made it full day... That is cool but again, for $89 you could have may other solutions for charging, its not that small really...

Strange, my battery life is really amazing. It used to be crappy then it just became a lot better, I use my iPhone 3G a lot every day, at least 3 solid hours of video and audio and internet surfing, and I charge it every second day , I hit 20% at the end of the second day

Is it just me...or does anybody notice that batter life has gotten better with usage..I used to not last a whole day without reaching 20%...with Wifi and 3G on and limited usuage...and then suddenly over time ..battery life has just gotten better..Werid!

I really wish these external batteries would bend around the bottom and fit against the back of the phone so I could use it and the phone at the same time if I wanted to without it hanging off the bottom.

I'm actually looking to get the external battery from Just Mobile. You should check it out. Just Mobile Gum. Cheaper than other companies. $40/$60, for 2200mah and 4400mah. Much better for the money, since even the smaller $40 one is more juice than the richard solo 1800.

I want to get this but i dont know if I need it. I dont use my iPhone SOOO much but it would be nice for trips since my parents car doesnt have a usb, and when i go camping for the weekend this would be awesome, I guess i got to save up :)
