surya-- he go for more macho, distance , reserve role and jo is just bold and taking in charge.

whereas

venkatesh - - is curious on why the girl is being mean to him but he is still polite to her and he has more softer presence . asin cannot beat jo la.

but personally i fell in love with anbuselvam (surya) and as jo put it, he is not normal, and i like that ;b

Venky is very much suitable to this character. I feel after Kamal, Venky is right kind of actor to play different roles in telugu. And you all tamil morons.. go and jump into river near to ur state.. why the hell are you comparing and criticizing.

never got why people have to compare the different versions. Different actors bring something different to the table. sorry for the long rant but this is getting rather tiresome. :) I absolutely LOVED the original version 'Kakka Kakka' and I enjoyed watching this version of the movie too. :)

Originals are always the best because well they are original. LOL! However that doesn't mean that the actors in the remakes put in any less effort than the ones in the original. give Venky & Asin a break guys. They did their best. I don't like Asin but this was a very different role from her usual bubbly roles so kudos to her. She looked really pretty as well. Venky who has always been one of my favs did a great job & he looked the part of a police officer perfectly.

@Sufiyasweety : I agree, Asin has tried her best but Jyo rocks and I think moreover its because of the real life chemistry between suriya and Jyo - it translates on to the screen..

Problem with Jo's expressions is that she bends her neck to speak whereas Asin doesn't.  And she was bloated.

Surya and Venky have characterized their roles in a different way. It's unfair to compare both roles.

The Telugu version of this movie was a super duper hit too like the Tamil one. Venky and Asin r just as good as Jo and Surya in these roles. (:

i like Asin better than Jyothika ... But in this movie... in the Tamil version is much much better..Jo is 1000% better than Asin in the tamil version.

Ofcourse i dont think i need to say that Surya is faar faar superior in this role.

Infact the checmistry b/w Surya - Jo was also awesome!! Something seems to be missing in the Telugu version.... :(
