This was just on Dave (a UK Freeview channel) but they didn't give us the lap time.

That said, i imagine the lap time was actually set by a person first of all so i suspect whatever the lap time of the person that drove it round the track originally so it could "learn" the track would be the lap time it drove itself round the track, right?

It would be interesting to see what would have happened if the lap was learned on a dry track and then was left to do it automatically on a wet track.

Its not driving itself even THEY SAID IT! It was PROGRAMMED SPECIFICALLY for this track. THERE ARE NO SENSORS or anything like that on a car its just programmed so nothing special. Not advanced at all they had cars like this in the 60's.
