I love Chris Rice. I listen to him when I am at the hospital, and I have got a lot of families, patients like me and nurses as well listening to him. Especially this song, It is a perfect song to describe when you feel bad and you pray, and you feel better, like how you can feel bad during chemo, and then feel better the next day<3

There is a difference between Religion and relationship. It is hard to recognize it, but it is EASIER once you have a light to push away the darkness and hardship. We have had stories at my church of peoples cancerous tumors falling off of them, going in for a checkup after being diagnosed with cancer and leaving with NOOOO cancer. People waking up from Deaths grip after hours of no heart beat. Now if there is no God, tell me what that is???

Sounds like thats whats happening at your Church. A priest told me to read the Litany of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, so Im going to do that every day. He said miracles would happen. And the fact that people are starving should really mean that those who are hungry should not be upset with God, but they should be upset with people like you and me. Christ tells us to feed those who are hungry, that is His practical and loving solution. If we were obedient to Him, billions of people wouldn't starve. But how much bread have you delivered to Africa?

yes, I believe we WILL have eternal life, just not right after we die... When we die, its just like a sleep until Jesus 2nd Coming. Then those who died in Christ will rise first, and those that are alive will rise and meet them in the air... There Soul wasn't wasn't already in heaven... well... in the original language,none of the bible had any punctuation, so the translators weren't sure wether to put the comma before or after "today" so it COULD also be read as "And Jesus said unto him 'Truly I say unto you today, you shall be with me in paradise." So you mainly have to go by whats said in the rest of the bible, and if it all adds up... I tend to go with the comma AFTER "today", but I guess its really up to the interpreter...
