Yes. 500 series Nozomi are running two round trips between Tokyo and Hakata now.

Nozomi No.6 for Tokyo, No28 for Tokyo,

Nozomi No.29 for Hakata, No.51 for Hakata

But, those may disappear within a year.

i remamber when I visited japan in April '06, the customer service was amazingly and the trains were absolutely spotless. I found the Shinkansen 700 very comfortable. I did an excellent one day return to Kyoto which I loved.
