  • this game is very difficult first time around thanks for the walkthrough

  • ok guys now i have no idea how to even get to the top...how do i get up there?

  • @Nathan11661 You can't get up on the starting ledge shown here from below, but if you continue playing--exit the kraken room and proceed to the area where Lara find's the next major artifact--afterward, you'll emerge on this ledge ready to go for the relic. Check my written walkthrough (or one of the many full-level video walks here on YT) and all will become clear. Good luck! :)

  • Is it possible to go back into a level you already completed without having to complete the entire game?

  • @LastWill1000 No, not without loading an old save, but then you'd have to replay everything to get back where you were. If you miss a treasure or relic, you can pick it up after completing the game by using Treasure Hunt mode. That replaces the "Resume Game" option in the center of the menu. The first time you start Treasure Hunt, it loads the Medeterranean level, but you can then change levels in Lara's PDA.

  • Stella Rocks!!!

  • Stella, I missed this relic during my first playthrough, and I don't know how in the world to get back up there so I can get it in "Treasure Hunt" mode. Please help!

  • @xphoenixrose Hi. The path is basically the same as on the first pass: From the boat, swim down in to the tower and through the puzzle-lock door, which will be open now. Make your way through the tunnels to the big room with the kraken. Exit through the door behind the dead kraken and follow the passage to the pile of rubble just before the area where you found the gauntlet before. Climb over the rubble and go into the room on the left. (cont.)...

  • @xphoenixrose Then climb up into the passage that leads back to the kraken room on the upper level. When you emerge on the ledge above the kraken room, everything is the same as in this video. Good luck!

  • @stellalune Awesome! Thank you! ^_^

  • Can you help me,Stella?

My Underworld slows sometimes, but i don't know why!

    I Have all requiriments!

    (sorry for bad english!)

  • @FanCroftLara I don't know the answer, but I would suggest posting the question (and details about your system) on some of the Tomb Raider tech support boards. YouTube doesn't allow links, but if you Google "Eidos Tomb Raider Forums underworld tech support" and "Tomb Raider Forums tech support" you'll find the most popular message boards. Hopefully someone else will be able to help solve your problem. Good luck!

  • How do u get all the way to the top u can't find a way up there!!

  • @SuperFireEagle Sorry that wasn't clear. This occurs the second time you enter this area. After you kill the kraken and exit through the door it was previously blocking, you do a bunch more stuff. Then you return to this area through a different entrance on the upper level (shown in the video). I'm sure you aren't the only one who was confused. ll add a note to the description.

  • @stellalune yea i found out later that you automatically go up there after the cutscene anyways thanks i got the platinum yesterday

  • @stellalune Wow. . .can't believe of all the places the relic could be. . . I was actually just about to go there because I saw that opening in the rubble looking across the way, but since I kept falling I figured it was blocked off and wasn't meant to be accessed.

Thanks for clearing that up with this walkthrough.

  • Great Relic guides they have helped out greatly. The thing is though I ended up missing this relic but Iam going to get the relics in later levels. The question Im asking is will I need to play through the whole game again collecting all the relics. Or can I go back to this level once the game is finished to get this relic and get the 6 relic acheviement.

I hope my question made sense.

  • @spider5600 In this game you can go back after you finish. When you beat the game, you unlock "Treasure Hunt" mode. You'll see it in the center of the menu where "Resume" was before. It automatically takes you to the Mediterranean at first. To change levels, open Lara's PDA and choose Revisit Location. Good luck!

  • Better than most of the guides! every other one i saw said to go underneath the exit! thank you for making it clear!

  • ... all i have to say is.... you rock! the walkthrough is amazing, i was considering buying it on my ps3, since my graphics card ain't the best.... though if i close most of my applications (ie/firefox, msn, etc.), i can run it in 1080 with no tearing, or slowness. if i ever i get stuck, i just look at the walkthrough to point me into the right direction. one question though, have you made any other walkthroughs or is this the only one? because i might use yours next time i need one. :D

  • @GangstaLatif Thanks so much! :) I've done waltkhroughs for all the Tomb Raiders (no videos yet for the classics though). I also did Space Colony and am working on the Lego Indiana Jones series. Just Google "Stella" plus those game names to find the sites if you're interested. Take care and raid on!

  • Thanks Stella! I had such a hard time finding that relic! i can't tell you how many times i was searching in the beginning of the level! Thanks again :)

  • does anyone know if these apply to the ps2 version?

  • @ThePaulos92 No, there are no relics in the PS2 game. I do have a written waltkhrough for the PS2 game, though. YouTube doesn't allow links in comments, but if you Google "Stella Tomb Raider Underworld" you'll find it. :)

  • You are amazing this seriously made my day as sad as that is. My friend and I are obsessed with getting all the treasures and relics and we're using your walkthrough. There is no way we could get them all without you.

let me just say it again,

    you are amazing <3

  • Thanks so much! Good luck with your relic hunting! :D

  • This game really shines, i mean really, on an HDTV (360 on HDTV).

  • I play on the PC, and these videos were originally done at 1024x768 resolution. You lose a little in the translation to YouTube, but the lighting effects are still pretty cool--the flashlight on the wet walls is more apparent in other parts of this level, but it's so realistic.

  • So much better than the ps2 verision...

  • Sad but true. :(

  • @stellalune

what is wrong with the ps2 version of the game??? the combat is boring the graphics suck, i was so dissapointed when i got the game for new years and i played it, i was shocked by the graphics and lara cant do any moves like the kicks

  • It's true. Same with the Wii game. Both are radically dumbed-down versions of an already not-too-difficult game. It's unfortunate. I guess Eidos & Crystal Dynamics thought they'd give PS2 players one last go. Kind of a sad note to go out on, though. :(

  • yeah thats right,lol

i have to buy a ps3 or a x box to play this game now, which one would you reccomend x box or ps3???

  • Well, I've never owned a PlayStation (1, 2 or 3) so I can't say much about them. I mostly play PC games, but I also have a 360 and I love it. Also, Xbox 360 is the only system that has the bonus levels for Underworld.

  • thanks for the advice :)

  • First comment! do you have it on ps2??? this is totally different

  • Sorry, I don't have any videos for the PS2 since I don't own that system. I do have a PS2 text walkthrough. I can't post links in comments, but it's in the video description. Also, there's a PS2 video walkthrough here on YouTube under the username AlexStark7. Happy hunting!

  • Oh ok thanks anyway
