Could someone help me out on how to play a Region 2 dvd on my Toshiba laptop? I live in the US and I got some dvds from Japan. They will not play on my tv or on the laptop:). Any help would be appreciated. :) Thanks.

Just listened to Ballad od Tindersticks, it's not the music of the Soprano excerpts above, even not an instrumental version.

I am almost sure that this is some kind of stock HBO music or that HBO just let some band make several tunes. I would still like to have them though, I actually prefer the alternate music above the original music.

Yes, strangely, this alternative music differs from the US version and only stands in the region 2 dvd. Weird.

So it seems to be a lost cause.... sniff

if you have an import version of S1, all of the songs on the episodes are not the same as in the original show aired on HBO in the US. I have no clue why the songs are different but they truly are. I have an import version and was stunned at the differences. I know this doesn't help much but maybe it will clear up some confusion. Thankfully, the import version of S1 seems to be the only one that is messed up musically.
