@steelWindAlchemist for 6 dollars yeah. Its a really good game and rare for the hard copy. Runs for about 150 dollars on amazon. I would pick it up if you are a fan of the series.
He doesn't need to level up, he needs better gear and better techniques like shadow walk. Last time i checked i was at a lower level than him ( i ran away from numerous battles to build up damage for Coward's Way and when i met this enemy, Titan, i didn't have a problem killing it, WITH the shade in battle. You're wondering why that matters? Well if the Shade was still in battle then Titan would have MORE defense than without the Shade.

Heh, long time since I've played that game. In all honesty, I liked it because it was a new freaking Breath of Fire game, but compared to the trio before it, it doesn't stand a chance ^^ In my opinion, BoF2 was the best one, simply because I fell in love with the story. This old time RPG gamer has but one more thing to say... The kids here that find it so important to tell a person, over the internet no less, how much better they are than everyone else makes me loose faith in humanity :'(

epsxe is the emulator for ps1 u can download it anywhere but then u gotta download some plugins for it too like sound and video, won't take long. When u wanna download a game for the emulator just go to google and type the game name followed by rom, example (Breath of Fire 4 rom) and u'll get what u want.

Its because when they released BoF3 they didn't expect such a huge positive response to the game. After seeing it was such a hit, they literally stopped all other projects they were working on to creating BoF4.So basically its so badass because they put allllloooot of effort into it. Unlike games now a days where they make a game in 2 weeks and release it for some quick pocket change.
It's a prequal to the other three, showing the origin of of the dragons (Before the clans started), Deis/Bleu (Who appears in every game) and a lot of the other themes

Looks to me you trained Ryu into more of a mage instead of a tank. Try using strong single hit skills and spells like the triple Inferno chain or Shadowwalk,shining blade and such.
Why do you have super combo on Cray? Always have it with Ryu or Scias. Scias usually does some critical for some odd damn reason. And yes, this dude is a common enemy. I can just imagine you facing Knight =\

I thought Breath of Fire 3 was kinda boreing, BOF 4 was extremely fun! Almost as good as BOF 2! Dragon Quarter was a horrible game! Just thinking about it pisses me off!
I prefer BoF3, you can become all kinds of different dragons, not just one. Better story too. Crossing the ocean, crossing the desert, killing God, etc.

Ershin!!!! I love that roboty dude! When i was like 5 i beat this game and i had ershin in my party all up until the final boss (except he kinda died) he still is so awesome!! I couldnt remember his name at first.....

Looks to me you trained Ryu into more of a mage instead of a tank. Try using strong single hit skills and spells like the triple Inferno chain or Shadowwalk,shining blade and such.

I use Shadowwalk with Ryu, Shining Blade with Scias and Super Combo with Cray
and this isn't hard, it's because you are in a low level, and certainly don't have the right equipments and skills =)

Why do you have super combo on Cray? Always have it with Ryu or Scias. Scias usually does some critical for some odd damn reason. And yes, this dude is a common enemy. I can just imagine you facing Knight =\

yeah scias can use the equivalent, shining blade
you can learn shadowwalk from some monster, i forgot which, or learn it from bunyan(the last master)
and ryu automatically has it if you have him transform into the myrimdon or knight transformation
just make sure you dont kill the shades that always come with the titans, or the exp value of them will go down by half

I thought Breath of Fire 3 was kinda boreing, BOF 4 was extremely fun! Almost as good as BOF 2! Dragon Quarter was a horrible game! Just thinking about it pisses me off!

I prefer BoF3, you can become all kinds of different dragons, not just one. Better story too. Crossing the ocean, crossing the desert, killing God, etc.
BoF4 is only superior with the music.
