The beginning piano was beautiful. It really conveys the fact of the sad parts of shadow's life. at :42, it began with the traditional crush 40 song. it tells you this: "the past is gone. i have nothing to do with it. now i never turn back.

let me explain.....The Shadow in sonic adventure 2 is the same shadow in every sonic game. Shadow never died Eggman saved him with one of his robots and put shadow in a statis tube so he could not only heal him but also take his DNA to make shadow clones. The reason shadow cant remeber anything from sonic adventure 2 is cuz of amnesia from a big whack on the head! so hopefully this helps since its a solid answer but ya...

@limmitt200c Lol! try Ebay, they always have Sonic merchandise on there. I don't think you'll find a Shadow toy like that in any store because this game came out years ago, so if they had toys for it they are probably gone. Hope that helped :)

Thank you for posting this! People seem to forget that Shadow is supposed to be the opposite of Sonic, as in, more serious and dark. After all, this is no Sonic game. It's Shadow's game.
@palindinX Shadow is a part of the Sonic universe. He is not so dark in his first game, Sonic Adventure 2. Shadow the Hedgehog is the only game in which he is so dark. That game doesn't fit his personality.
@corphish129 SA2 has Shadow planning to sacrifice himself to wipe out all life on the planet to avenge Maria. The only reason he changed his mind was the realization that Maria wouldn't want him to do that. So, seeing that none of the other villains in the series were willing to essentially destroy themselves to achieve their goals makes Shadow one of the darkest antagonists Sonic ever faced and why he will always have trouble dealing with him since he has that self-sacrifical tendency.
@corphish129 Glad you like my user name. Being dark to me does not necessarily mean guns and swearing, but its a way you handle situations. Shadow, even in SA2, has shown to have little qualm killing others and tends to use a Machiavellian style to achieve his ends, even if they are benevolent in nature. Shadow using guns is not OoC for him, since he is a pragmatist and rarely shows mercy to his enemies, unlike Sonic who generally lets foes flee.

@Cole3402 Or it can be like a cross identity problem, like the latest Shadow Android somehow he gets all of Shadow's memories and goes insane, while it develops a mind of it's own and questions and criticizes Shadow's past actions, making him re-think his existence.
Although I think a ShTH2 would be impossible, Shadow already discovered his past and decided to move on, that's why in Sonic 06, he was more determined and straightforward, and he didnt dwell on the past like he used to do

That final boss can be a revived Black Doom, because at the end of ShTH he didn't exploded or leaved the planet, he fell down and wasn't in the black comet when it was destroyed.
@SantuXD6 You know in my theories Black Doom was stored away in a top secret place in the G.U.N location,which means Android was making his way to get him then G.U.N mistaked android for the real shad then android makes black doom create new better black arms army for a war to destroy this planet for the worse,then black doom was finding out how android was becoming more crazy then both double-cross eachother finding each other killed by shad black doom dies,then for android's suicide and tear.

@Cole3402 The plot should be that a void opens up and begins to suck mutliple parts of the world into it. The trailer should be of all of the endings of Shadow the Hedgehog, for him to only find out it's a lie, so he finds the shortest path into the void, meeting a variety of new characters. It should also be like Legend of Zelda, with multiple sidequests and the ability to wander around in stead of having a small path you are directed to go into to reach the end of the stage.
@Spongetomic I have PS2 and there was this one level near the end that I just COULDNT complete because the camera bugged the f out and I didnt know what way to go lol.
@MrMagnarock original isnt always good, I didnt like the shooting one bit. But I love the soundtrack and the level-design still :D every sonic game has good soundtrack.

@Cole3402 I agree with everything except the blood. I'm confused as to why recently people think Sonic needs some mature gore and shit. When I think of Sonic, I think of Green Hill, not gore, blood, guts, etc.

@ZXReploidHunter I like how you said "When i think of Sonic, etc ,etc". But theres just one little problem....Shadow is not Sonic. He's not "Happy going" or "Go where the wind is" like Sonic is, He's MUCH MUCH darker. And Shadow uses Guns. Guns = Blood.
Which is why Cole3402 said he wanted blood in Shadow the Hedgehog 2. Now if it was a Sonic game THAN you can get your "Green Hill" but it's not.

Thank you for posting this! People seem to forget that Shadow is supposed to be the opposite of Sonic, as in, more serious and dark. After all, this is no Sonic game. It's Shadow's game.

@palindinX Shadow is a part of the Sonic universe. He is not so dark in his first game, Sonic Adventure 2. Shadow the Hedgehog is the only game in which he is so dark. That game doesn't fit his personality.

@corphish129 SA2 has Shadow planning to sacrifice himself to wipe out all life on the planet to avenge Maria. The only reason he changed his mind was the realization that Maria wouldn't want him to do that. So, seeing that none of the other villains in the series were willing to essentially destroy themselves to achieve their goals makes Shadow one of the darkest antagonists Sonic ever faced and why he will always have trouble dealing with him since he has that self-sacrifical tendency.

@corphish129 Glad you like my user name. Being dark to me does not necessarily mean guns and swearing, but its a way you handle situations. Shadow, even in SA2, has shown to have little qualm killing others and tends to use a Machiavellian style to achieve his ends, even if they are benevolent in nature. Shadow using guns is not OoC for him, since he is a pragmatist and rarely shows mercy to his enemies, unlike Sonic who generally lets foes flee.

@SantuXD6 everyone keeps forgeting sonic 06 never happened like me,but that android idea is cool,think of it as metal sonic to neo metal but was screwed up by chaos energy and decides to be a phyco killer destroying everything he likes to destroy.but if people wants mephiles back it has to be a spin-off because the first one was in the main series so its complicated to want shadowth2 to be in the main series,it will have to be that in generations it got him back because of time paradox.

@Cole3402 Or it can be like a cross identity problem, like the latest Shadow Android somehow he gets all of Shadow's memories and goes insane, while it develops a mind of it's own and questions and criticizes Shadow's past actions, making him re-think his existence.
Although I think a ShTH2 would be impossible, Shadow already discovered his past and decided to move on, that's why in Sonic 06, he was more determined and straightforward, and he didnt dwell on the past like he used to do

@SantuXD6 Well android might want to find his past like shad did but kills everything because of what memories he developed its limited but suffers greatly about it when it gains more memories of what it should it keep it,limited everytime he suffers it's chaos powers become more powerful and he becomes more phycotic because of it's fake memories.then becomes in it's true superhyper chaos form in the end,then realizing all he wanted was to live like shad,sheding a tear at his demise

@Cole3402 And probably after the final battle, he can sacrifice his life to stop whoever's behind this (Probably Eggman). That final boss can be a revived Black Doom, because at the end of ShTH he didn't exploded or leaved the planet, he fell down and wasn't in the black comet when it was destroyed.

@SantuXD6 You know in my theories Black Doom was stored away in a top secret place in the G.U.N location,which means Android was making his way to get him then G.U.N mistaked android for the real shad then android makes black doom create new better black arms army for a war to destroy this planet for the worse,then black doom was finding out how android was becoming more crazy then both double-cross eachother finding each other killed by shad black doom dies,then for android's suicide and tear.

@Cole3402 The plot should be that a void opens up and begins to suck mutliple parts of the world into it. The trailer should be of all of the endings of Shadow the Hedgehog, for him to only find out it's a lie, so he finds the shortest path into the void, meeting a variety of new characters. It should also be like Legend of Zelda, with multiple sidequests and the ability to wander around in stead of having a small path you are directed to go into to reach the end of the stage.
