that's nice making the sushi rolls, nevertheless you cut the sushi roll in half, and never cut the halves that are side to side. it's quick, easy, and gives the sushi pieces a uniform size, by putting the halves side by side, then cutting them in thirds or quarters.
right ons. i tried that before, but for some reason it seemed to not cut the rice as smoothly, but i'll go back and try again, i used to just try that for speed, but uniformity like you mentioned is very important and it makes sense that they'd be more uniform with less cuts, thanks for the tip ;)
