the installer and drivers only work on 32 bit systems. to connect to rovio without the usb cable, you need to factory reset the rovio and connect directly to it... you also need to change your ipv4 settings. the manual should explain...

personally i came here finding out how to get it to connect to your network from there... the manual explains but it just doesnt work for me

So far my Rovio is just a brick with blue lights. I am a networking admin and I can't get this thing to work at all. Charged it overnight and it only stays on for 5-10 minutes and then it shuts off.

I have a number of other WowWee products and they all work like a charm, Rovio however is fairly useless

Hope you already figured it out but if you haven't, you just have to try a few times. wait until the light is completely green before trying to plug it in. It took me about 3 times but it finally picked it up and I haven't had any other problems since.
