i had it removed 8 months ago.. i was 21.. my doc told me after the operation i was at death's door when they opened me up because it was in full on rupture.. but after the whole ordeal, i feel special to be part of the 2% that had it.. lol

i did the same operation too...my doctors say that is miracle that i am alive..i lost near half of my blood + for e.g i had 39 % of red cell in a sample of blood(thats the normal) and when i went to hospital i was alive with 18%..

lol! you guys did a great job! I laughed a lot. You might have been able to through in there though that it is more common with boys, and even though rare, it can trigger later on in life. I was a weirdo. lol! I'm a girl and it triggered when I was like 11(usually triggers at or before age 2)....

but still....
