  • i like how alot of fucking pussies and hippies watch this these songs and this video are to honor the guys that were in the shit up over thier heads not back home in the states smoking weed and protesting fuck the politics fuck the poloticians who left a lot of these guys stranded in vietmanese prison camps for years and fuck the draft dodgeing hippies who were protesting and calling these guys baby killers.

  • Great Video, very well done. To me the one song that makes me think of Vietnam is

"Who`ll stop the rain" by CCR. Even so the tune`s not about the war, it just makes me think of it.

  • peace and love guys!! no war

  • thanks a lot

  • rocknpollution, GREAT video, man. Great video. Really very striking.

I wasn't born in those times, but the memory of those times sure is alive.

    Nice

  • The pics were EXCELLENT. Wish you would've included FORTUNATE SON by CCR as it and Paint it Black were 2 of the most powerful Vietnam protest songs in my opinion. Both songs give me goose bumps as I think of my father's 'drafted trip into a jungle hell' as an 18 yr old kid. Please note that Have You Ever Seen The Rain is ALSO a CCR tune NOT Van Morrison. Guess they may have done it too at some time but the version you played is definately CCR.

  • Funny you metion it, I also wanted to add that CCR song, Fortunate Son, however i did not have that song in my itunes collection at the time so id didn't used. I love CCR. Thanks for the comment

  • Thanks for this. I grew up during this time and it did seem revolutionary, frightening, and yet hugely exciting. I do believe the music's messages in the late 60's and early 70's are very tough to beat.

  • good strong movie.

  • Whats the song at 1:00 ??? Its really good

    Nice Video

  • i says all the song in the more info box

  • a cool song begins at 2:53 whats the name of it ?: )

thx great stuff and music also keep it up

  • Thanks, the name of the song is "Hello Vietnam" by Johnny Wright

  • hmm i cant seem to find it

  • Nice effort but some of the songs and photos don't match up with the years cited, that is, if that was the intention of the editor (Watchtower by Jimi Hendrix wasn't released until '68, Steve Miller's Joker came out in '73, shooting of students at Kent State happened in '70, the war was over by the time Pink Floyd did The Wall) I-Feel-Like-I'm-Fixin'-to-Die by Country Joe & The Fish was missing from the lineup. Check it out.

Still, a nice mix and tribute to the boys who didn't make it home.

  • Thanks for the comment. I did intend for the pictures to be with the year (so sorry about Kent State, my bad) but not the songs. I guess that The Wall was out of place too. Thanks for your insight into music and history. Thanks for supporting the vets and thanks for the comment

  • Will we ever get the True story of Vietnam ??,not in my lifetime i fear
