I actually found this game in the PSX release of Namco Museum Vol. 2. It was the best port i've played of this game and i've never forgotten it. I loved it when i was young.
I still remember playing this on vacation when i was somewhat around 6 or so years old and it stuck with me.
@DigiHatesMakingNames: btw good (hopefully) news: there IS a home port other than the famicom version, it's for PSX and included in the namco museum 2 collection!
So this is the original Dragon Buster. I've only played the Tales of the Abyss version of this game. As great as these old games are, I'm epically horrid at them.
Oh yeah I have seen those little videos on that little related section Neat I think thats really cool when Game Companise do a little tribute to there older games now if only there was A Splatterhouse one.
I agree With you Digi I am really suprised this never got a PC Engine realise consitering How Namco gave just about half of there 80'S Hits to the PC Engine.
It looks very similar to Zelda II: The Adventureof Link. I wonder if Miyamoto got a lot of his inspiration from this game.
