The heads of Fannie and Freddie were in bed with Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Maxine Waters, etc. Frank and Dodd and Waters are so used to lying, that to them it doesn't matter. The truth doesn't matter. The facts don't matter. Months before F&F went belly-up Frank was out saying that F&F were fine. And he, and Dodd, etc. would crucify anyone who suggested otherwise as fear mongers, racists, etc.

Most of our representatives are professional liars and thieves. Wake up people.

Well, regardless of finger pointing, which isn't gonna do anyone, any good, we need to go back to the root of the problem. GREED. It all started with real estate. People were so damn hot to make a few bucks, they speculated, drove up the cost artificially, built more unnecessary, overpriced homes until there were too many at too high a price. Then everyone had their hand out -- mortgage people, banks, you name it. Now were left cleaning up their mess.

The keep sending assholes like Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Maxine Watyers etc back to Washington when they are at the root of this fiasco is complete insanity. Dubya and all other presidents are only as effective as the people around them. They are not all knowing, all seeing. They have committee and oversight chairmen supposedly qualified that they count on to do their flipping job!! It all boils down to that... but when you have those like Barney Frank and Chris Cox that failed to do their jobs, they should be OUT!..but what does this administration do, but put them in charge of writing the bailout bill and keep them in their positions! When Barney Frank speaks, he does not enunciate clearly. Seems as though he has something in his mouth! If he would remove the object and speak clearly, maybe he could defend his position more easily. If he can't , then he should be held accountable and prosecuted.
