Some people complain that the movie was inaccurate because the Belle didn't have that much happen to it on her last misson. This film is dedicated to the memory to those who never came back from their first, twenty fifth and every crew in between. I'd like to see those cridics have the balls to do what those teenegers did in world war 2, we will never forget those efforts gentlemen. Hats off to the female techs and mechanics who built these machines, they were iron women.
This movie came out when I was 3 or 4... it was part of what inspired me to join the air force... I am now a 2Lt and in training to be a Combat Systems Officer (basically Navigator, bombardier, and a few other jobs that used to be separate rolled into one). This movie brings back so many memories of when I was little!
@pvtsoap262 Well, there is CGI in alot of parts. The shot of the 359 other planes was done in computers. The Belle was a set, and a good prop was made for C-Cup ( the one whose nose is blown off.) One cool thing is that the bombing run and film of the bombs impacting is William Wyler's film from 1943 and that attack on Bremen.
my dad got this movie and i watched ever since i was about 5 and i am 13 now and never stopped loving it. if you havent seen it lately you have to. that is one of the things you put on your list of things to do before you die
I really like this movie it sticks out of most war movies for me. theres no flashy cg planes flying around all real, prety good for its time. but also i found it a sad movie to has alot of emotion.
Its an awesome film, really well put together. Extremely nice to watch, one of my faves. But, it is all of the Belle's missions rolled into one. The Belle's last mission was actually a milk run to France.
haha is that so? fuck I guess I'm not the only one who watched this masterpiece when I was young, but I was 3 and a half years old when I first saw this beutiful movie, I'm just under 18 now so fuck that was soo damn long ago.. Damn I need to see this movie again. btw. If you're a really big fan of the movie I suggest you read the book, gives you a more in depth look of the characters.

This is one of the Last best movies with real aircraft and no CGI the last one being the Aviator.
