Also, if you look all the way back to Thriller, he ALWAYS had femine features. It was one of the reasons why they thought he was gay and why they believed he wanted to look like Diana Ross. His lips, high cheek bones, sharp jaw line, etc. all looked too feminine since day one. I think that's also why he got the dimple on his chin to look more masculine

I don't think he preferred being androgenious or whatever its called. I think, for him, looking young was the most important thing. And in all his years, he always looked young for his age. I think when you adopt child-like, feminie features, it takes a few years off of you. His fans always wanted him to be forever young.
