love the intro! and the finger-style pentatonic bass fills...cringed at 1:10..don't know what you were going for there..slap bass technique needs to be more controlled..but tapping was solid. you gotta kick-ass set up.

I m keyboard and electric guitar player but I agree bass is fun to play (although I rarely get to play one).......I use pick to perform shredding stuff on electric guitar..only time I pick by hand is for songs like hey delilah
@Tz0H im a bass guitar player and i know when a vibrato is too much or not. theres too much movement that doesnt really affect the overall effect. tho im not criticizing him, its just an observation
I had a Jaguar bass for about a year, but had to sell it when I got my Jazz Bass Deluxe V. Loved that bass, especially the active EQ section. Do you use the one on yours often? I didn't see it turned on in any of your videos I've seen yet.
this is quite annoying. should have just played it instrumentally if you want to trod all over the vocals like that. plus the best part of the song is that funk/gospel riff in the middle and you played it sloppy.
The point of covers is sometimes just to give it all you got, and make the song about your instrument, not necessarily to listen to the song. The covers are to showcase his bass playing, which is great.
@nburtoninferno If that's the case then it's a BAD cover. A GREAT cover is playing to a song where you do your own thing but still fits the song you are covering. In other words making the song your own but still GROOVING... This is what's lacking in this cover.

@Tz0H im a bass guitar player and i know when a vibrato is too much or not. theres too much movement that doesnt really affect the overall effect. tho im not criticizing him, its just an observation

I had a Jaguar bass for about a year, but had to sell it when I got my Jazz Bass Deluxe V. Loved that bass, especially the active EQ section. Do you use the one on yours often? I didn't see it turned on in any of your videos I've seen yet.

this is quite annoying. should have just played it instrumentally if you want to trod all over the vocals like that. plus the best part of the song is that funk/gospel riff in the middle and you played it sloppy.

The point of covers is sometimes just to give it all you got, and make the song about your instrument, not necessarily to listen to the song. The covers are to showcase his bass playing, which is great.

@nburtoninferno If that's the case then it's a BAD cover. A GREAT cover is playing to a song where you do your own thing but still fits the song you are covering. In other words making the song your own but still GROOVING... This is what's lacking in this cover.
