@pleasingteasing it freezes if you are using a wireless adapter for your xbox, i had the same problem. connect your xbox with an ethernet wire and it will work fine. theres a problem with the wireless adapters which is causing the game to freeze.

Pc doesn't need upgrading all the time, only if you're just the kind of person who wants the best of the best which comes out every year (New gpus/ cpus usually every year) Updates to pc are slow, they take at least 4 months till something new comes out that people might consider getting.
