Everyone is over simplifying this. Marco actually has a twin brother named Polo. That is why you can see his face running up the building and at the top of the building. If you look closly one of them has a unibrow and the other one does not

ok, there is someone behind him 2 drop the camera AND marco tempest only goes half way coz he says "hi here i am!" then he goes down quick and wen he gets up, u can still hear him coz theres a microphone! so wen he gets up on level 5 its just another guy with marco tempest talking loud on the microphone!
i dont know if anyone has said this, but i think i might've gotten it. his voice is recorded with the music, except for when way on the stairs, he switches the phone with someone and then runs back downstairs while the other guy keeps going up, and when it has the last shot of him before the camera falls, that is really a cardboard cut out image of him cause i saw a behind the scenes picture of it somewhere, and he catches it. thats my theory
if u notice when the phone falls down the camera keeps looking the bottom of the building... dunno u but when u throw something down a building, it keeps rolling and it is very difficult to keep it still :)

It's two different people.. Marco before he goes up the steps looks and sounds different, then when the phone goes back to the bottom, it looks and sounds like the real Marco.. Look and listen closely and you'll see it..
And how do they get the phone down? Rope or something like that..
He is brilliant for coming up with this stuff... This one is really easy to figure out Jeremymia nailed it.. But how creative do you have to be to do these types of things.? I mean I know I could never figure out a way to pull that sort of thing off..

His voice was recorded on the tape/CD that was playing on the radio. He followed someone that looked like him to the 3rd floor, let his look-alike (the guy on the roof has darker hair) continue to the roof while he went back down to the street to "catch" the phone.
No.1 rule to remember when listening/watching to an illusionist/magician .. and that is they LIE .. end of story.
An magician that never lies is not an magician, as you can't decieve anybody without lying. The trick is to cover up/distract your viewers from the truth, whatever that may be. The better an illusionist the better the liar. If they say there are no edits/camera tricks then you better believe there are more than you could imagine .. you can't trust them you see.
HOW THIS WAS DONE - He's last seen moving on the 3rd floor of the 6 floor building. At some point he hands the phone to an accomplice. His voice continues but it's dubbed over the M:I soundtrack of the boombox. The last image of him before the phone drops is a photo. Clever.

I think he has somone else hold the radio and his voice is on the cd. He is in the building up to the 3rd floor where you last see him. He then goes back out. There is a cardboard cut out of him on the roof then the phone is thrown down to him.
he stuck his hand out each window.... or down the latters to make it look like the phone was falling. if it was real the phone would be spinning or at the very least, not pointing down the whole time. Let me see anyone drop something that far and have it stay the same direction without some sort of tail like a dart
no there's a cardboard box of him, after he shows himself on the stairs he switches with someone and runs down the steps. Then the recording on the radio does the rest of the talking and just as he is about to jump down (or his partner) he shows a cardboard box picture of himself and drops it down to marco tempest.
At the top the camera is quickly turned toward a photograph cardboard cutout of Marco, then lowered down to the real Marco, probably with a fishing pole, which I think I caught a glimpse of beside the cardboard cutout. I think I want to try this one!! Very COOL Marco!
Marco DID enter the building, showed himself on the 3rd floor, ran back downstairs as his partner ran upstairs with the phone and Marco's PRE-recorded voice.
the track he plays already has his voice pre-recorded. he gets someone else to run up the stairs while holding onto the boombox which is playing the mission impossible theme, and his pre-recorded voice, [giving the illusion that he's talking to you as he runs up], once the dude is on the roof, he turns to a quick peek at a picture of marco, and then he throws the camera phone off the roof down to the awaiting marco.
The last time you see Marco is on the third floor, then he hands the phone and the cd player to another person, the CD player has his voice recorded over the mission impossible music that narrates the rest of the trick. Marco then goes back downstairs and waits to catch the phone. The second person flashes a picture of Marco (its a pose) just before the phone goes over the edge of the building.
magicians perform TRICKS. you can't trust them when they say there is no editing. if there is not enough time to get to the bottom of the building, then the video must have REALLY started when somebody ELSE dropped it from the building where the magician catches it, says his outro, says his intro, then runs up the building. then it is simple editing to put the beginning (until the intro) at the end.
Okay, I think the his voice was recorded on the tape...but then you see him at the top?!?! Maybe it was a "cardboard guy"...that's the only way I see he could do it. Pretty cool stuff!
I gotta say something to all the haters. Sure you can spot how he does all these tricks, but how many people can actually think up camera tricks like he does?
A second person was carrying the cd player, marco was with him until the third floor when he said "here i am". From then on his voice was layered in the soundtrack. Not sure about the few frames of him at the top, a poster maybe?
If there is no editing, you have a twin. That's definitely not a photo, in 1:15 second, we have two frames, and we can see the light on is face change. The sound of his voice on the top sounded differently, like recorded. But he wouldn't have time to get down there, so my hit is that the recorded part was to fool us, the one talking in the stairs is his twin, he never entered the building. Of course he is never going to say how so my hint is just has good has the next one.
the stereo and phone goes to someone else mark follows them halfway up the stairs, the stereo plays pre recorded talking and the picture at the top is a picture. oh well
This is what happened. The audio track with him speaking is pre-recorded. Notice a split second before he actually presses the play button on the stereo, the music has already started, hence there must be a 2nd sound source with his voice and music together. The shot of him at the 3rd floor is obivous, the shot of him on the roof is a picture. Thanks Marco for the great puzzle!
He's voice is prerecorded on the musictrack, and he has a photo of himself against the wall (pause at 115) Look at his shirt---its one-dimensional. Its a second person running the whole time. Pause at 27 sec---left hand free. 30 sec---right hand free.
SIMPLE.. the first guy he shows is not him. u can tell because he has white hair on the side.. the second time the camera gets his face for a second his hair is fully black.. pause the video on his image when he's ontop of the roof..
By far the best of your phone camera tricks. While with enogh thought you might figure it out, what I'd like to figure out is how you come up with the trick in the first place. Very inventive and fun to watch which I believe is the point you're trying to make with this video. You embrace the virtual medium gracefully.
he is known to have people beside the phone pretending to be his hands and what not.. possibly someone on the roof took the phone.. he maybe went down a ladder or slide that was set up.. the phone was zoomed in to look as if it was falling for a bit.. then dropped once marco was down there to catch the phone.. probably with a parachute.. it didn't look like it fell too fast.
Ahh I think I know how he did that. I guess there was another guy looking like him, and he recorded his voice on the stereo thingy before all of this, since his voice sounds all digital when he's about to "drop" the cellphone down to himself, but the rest, I ono.. xD
I like this guy's magic, it's easy to see his trick but his videos are fun to watch.

4- The Marco showed on the roof is a picture of him...If u look carefully, when his face is shown, the background changes.
5- This one i didnt get yet, but my guess is that the phone is tied up in a wire.

Assuming he's telling the truth about not editing, he is truly an amazing man with amazing skill. How I think it was done:
1) At the third floor, he proves he's there and then he runs back downstairs while his assistant keeps going up!!!
2) After the third floor Marco's voice comes from the recording.
3) Marco at the top seems like a cardboard cutout. How did he GET it there? Another assistant?
4) The phone is lowered by a well-measured string. Gravity takes over most of the way.

the audio was on the radio playing mission impossible, when you see him at the top its a quick flash of a picture mounted on the wall next to his assistant that actually caried the camera up the stairs, then droped it of the top with string attached.

Fantastic. Sure you can work out how he did it fairly easily, but he still thought up a great trick, and its tremendously entertaining!

Hahaa... On the half way he gave the phone to someone else... And on the top you see that his face is somewhat strange... Like on a photo :O. And then he lets the phone down from a rope.

his voice was recorded on the radio.. the 3rd door is when he switch with other guy.. the last part when on the top floor it was a a life size-stand of him-self.. when the camera falls down from the top floor i think it was attached to a wire/ and also maybe a box fits in with a camera phone..(why would someone catch a phone like it was a big camera or big phone)or maybe both.. that one really is puzzling well done.. :D did i get it right marcotempest? ofcourse i did ;)

His voice was recorded on the tape/CD that was playing on the radio. He followed someone that looked like him to the 3rd floor, let his look-alike (the guy on the roof has darker hair) continue to the roof while he went back down to the street to "catch" the phone.

No.1 rule to remember when listening/watching to an illusionist/magician .. and that is they LIE .. end of story.
An magician that never lies is not an magician, as you can't decieve anybody without lying. The trick is to cover up/distract your viewers from the truth, whatever that may be. The better an illusionist the better the liar. If they say there are no edits/camera tricks then you better believe there are more than you could imagine .. you can't trust them you see.

HOW THIS WAS DONE - He's last seen moving on the 3rd floor of the 6 floor building. At some point he hands the phone to an accomplice. His voice continues but it's dubbed over the M:I soundtrack of the boombox. The last image of him before the phone drops is a photo. Clever.

I think he has somone else hold the radio and his voice is on the cd. He is in the building up to the 3rd floor where you last see him. He then goes back out. There is a cardboard cut out of him on the roof then the phone is thrown down to him.

he stuck his hand out each window.... or down the latters to make it look like the phone was falling. if it was real the phone would be spinning or at the very least, not pointing down the whole time. Let me see anyone drop something that far and have it stay the same direction without some sort of tail like a dart

no there's a cardboard box of him, after he shows himself on the stairs he switches with someone and runs down the steps. Then the recording on the radio does the rest of the talking and just as he is about to jump down (or his partner) he shows a cardboard box picture of himself and drops it down to marco tempest.

At the top the camera is quickly turned toward a photograph cardboard cutout of Marco, then lowered down to the real Marco, probably with a fishing pole, which I think I caught a glimpse of beside the cardboard cutout. I think I want to try this one!! Very COOL Marco!

the track he plays already has his voice pre-recorded. he gets someone else to run up the stairs while holding onto the boombox which is playing the mission impossible theme, and his pre-recorded voice, [giving the illusion that he's talking to you as he runs up], once the dude is on the roof, he turns to a quick peek at a picture of marco, and then he throws the camera phone off the roof down to the awaiting marco.

The last time you see Marco is on the third floor, then he hands the phone and the cd player to another person, the CD player has his voice recorded over the mission impossible music that narrates the rest of the trick. Marco then goes back downstairs and waits to catch the phone. The second person flashes a picture of Marco (its a pose) just before the phone goes over the edge of the building.

magicians perform TRICKS. you can't trust them when they say there is no editing. if there is not enough time to get to the bottom of the building, then the video must have REALLY started when somebody ELSE dropped it from the building where the magician catches it, says his outro, says his intro, then runs up the building. then it is simple editing to put the beginning (until the intro) at the end.

A second person was carrying the cd player, marco was with him until the third floor when he said "here i am". From then on his voice was layered in the soundtrack. Not sure about the few frames of him at the top, a poster maybe?

If there is no editing, you have a twin. That's definitely not a photo, in 1:15 second, we have two frames, and we can see the light on is face change. The sound of his voice on the top sounded differently, like recorded. But he wouldn't have time to get down there, so my hit is that the recorded part was to fool us, the one talking in the stairs is his twin, he never entered the building. Of course he is never going to say how so my hint is just has good has the next one.

the stereo and phone goes to someone else mark follows them halfway up the stairs, the stereo plays pre recorded talking and the picture at the top is a picture. oh well

This is what happened. The audio track with him speaking is pre-recorded. Notice a split second before he actually presses the play button on the stereo, the music has already started, hence there must be a 2nd sound source with his voice and music together. The shot of him at the 3rd floor is obivous, the shot of him on the roof is a picture. Thanks Marco for the great puzzle!

He's voice is prerecorded on the musictrack, and he has a photo of himself against the wall (pause at 115) Look at his shirt---its one-dimensional. Its a second person running the whole time. Pause at 27 sec---left hand free. 30 sec---right hand free.

SIMPLE.. the first guy he shows is not him. u can tell because he has white hair on the side.. the second time the camera gets his face for a second his hair is fully black.. pause the video on his image when he's ontop of the roof..

By far the best of your phone camera tricks. While with enogh thought you might figure it out, what I'd like to figure out is how you come up with the trick in the first place. Very inventive and fun to watch which I believe is the point you're trying to make with this video. You embrace the virtual medium gracefully.

he is known to have people beside the phone pretending to be his hands and what not.. possibly someone on the roof took the phone.. he maybe went down a ladder or slide that was set up.. the phone was zoomed in to look as if it was falling for a bit.. then dropped once marco was down there to catch the phone.. probably with a parachute.. it didn't look like it fell too fast.

Ahh I think I know how he did that. I guess there was another guy looking like him, and he recorded his voice on the stereo thingy before all of this, since his voice sounds all digital when he's about to "drop" the cellphone down to himself, but the rest, I ono.. xD
