@messos ish, for the 100cc class its probs good, nice power delivery and great cornerin, can be nuts if you ride like a complete twat, if its ur first big bike go for the sv650, its the same but better for learnin, and is fun as hell to ride, hope this helped:)

but for real,i have a sv1k and when i stand up wheelie the heat goes right up the leg of my pants.....is there a pipe for it that isn't so fuckin big?like a shorty or something?and that's not gonna get me 500 noise fine.

totally different bike. SV1000 is much more of a 'real' motorcycle. Sv650s is a nice playing bike. Power enough though but not comparable to the SV1000. Remember the SV1000 engine is practical the same engine as a TL1000... Wich are mean bikes.
Yes, massive difference. The sound alone, if your in a car a 1000 is like having a helicopter come up behind you :) especially with the blueflame exhaust. With the 650 I was left feeling like I needed more, with the 1000 there is waaaay more lol. For such a large bike (I'm only 5' 6") it is remarkably light and easy to fling round corners. Lots of power, amazing sound, easy to use. Can't ask for much more especially at their cheap price tag.

Ryan Moore, Jason Britton and the Icon team, the list goes on bro. Don't get mad at me... I'm helping you out. Maybe next time you won't bounce off the limiter on a cold start. (u should always let it run for atleast a minute before reving, being hot doesnt mean oil is still in your head). SQUID!

less then $400 for yoshimura RS3 titanium. you got a great deal even for used 1's in that good of shape. i'll have to check out the forums. thanks for the info.
the original TL 1000R was known for its back fire it gives the bike personality almost all th sport bikes from japan are the same machine with differnt skin thats whats making twins cool.
catalytic converter. some of the newer bikes come with them stock for emissions reasons... easy enough to drill it out or just buy a straight through tube.

I don't remember since that's almost 6 years ago :) But I bought them used, and I know I paid less than $400 for them.
Check on SV1000 and TL1000s forums, the TLS one fits just fine, and that's where I found mine from.

Bolt-on/slip on muffler is a freaking muffler, straight through, no major design difference there between brand name
