This is what I like to see. Something outside of The Imperium. This one really makes you explore the inner depths of your outlook.

Dark Eldar are trying to preserve their culture and lives. Even if that means torture, rape, robbery, and GRIM DARK!

Chaos represents both the good (and bad, mostly bad) aspects of emotion and thought. Chaos has every reason to attack dark eldar, for they belong to Slaanesh and should welcome the abyss, but the dark eldar will resist every step of the way.

Screw DOW2. It was the final straw when they fucked up the IG. They're supposed to be about NUMBERS!! Guardsmen squads are too damn small. Sure, the HWT are badass, but that's it.

You lose the awsome feeling of them without the massive army. The epicness of 60+ Guardsmen.

DE versus Chaos fights will always be in favor of who's melee is stronger. Chaos Marines cannot kill mandrakes and Warriors cannot kill Cultists. As such, there's always going to be a melee dominance fight in between. Chaos will always have favor due to their Relic units.

Soulstorm was a failure. Glitches, terrible voice acting, terrible balance, it just sucked. The company who made it went bankrupt before it was released, so it could have been great if they managed to finish it.

Go fuck yourself, Soulstorm was better in my opinion because of replayability. The new one doesn't really seem special cept for graphics, doesn't seem like it has the same replay value that it's predecessors succeeded in.

@Gjkl345 thats why they are gonna add more expansion packs to refine on it. remember, DOW 1 wasnt as good but it got better with WA, DC, and finally Soulstorm. DOW 2 has come out with CR which has made it better and now it has to come out with a few more expansions. maybe copying the DC style.

Evil Vs Evil? Chaos Vs. Dark Eldar. They both have slaves and both have dark powers of their own. But who is better? I would go for the Chaos forces due to their Daemon creatures and warped monsters. Not to mention their Stealth ability. However, the Dark Eldar this time around do make the Chaos Forces appear week and bit. They have far better powers and more chaotic ways of winning their wars!

The dark eldar player shouldn't have built the dark foundry. Instead, te haemonculus's lab is better.

I noticed he used only shooting units besides one or two squads of mandrakes, which really killed his tactical flexibility. Building a wych arena would have been smarter, as well as teching up warp beasts. When he started tryign to micro with his jetbikes against the horrors, he was done for.

i found the best strategy as a dark eldar player...

make 3 wyches squads and 1 warp beast squad.

its almost invincible, here it is in other words:

the wyches destroy morale. Warp beasts are devastating when attacking morale-less enemies. warp beasts turn on you when the squad is broke, but each wych squad has an ability to fully recover morale for its surrounding allies. Works against buildings, vehicles, infantry, heavy infantry, etc....

its just the best combination ever.

I don't really play Dow multiplayer because... well i don't wanna macro or 'speed' play or rush my opponents base before they rush mine- it doesn't appeal; so i always play single player in campaign mode.

Am i wrong in saying that the Dark Eldar are underpowered? I know i'm playing them wrong because they're speed and agile n' shit but THEY CAN'T TAKE A HIT!! I try to take a heavily fortified point and all my troops just lose morale and it's a cluster f**ck of embarisment! Any suggestions?

dude, build the dark eldar space ships that you can get. build as many of those as you can and just send them to the khorne temples that you have to destroy. once you destroyed one, go bak 2 base, repair destroyed ones, or replaces ones that were shot down. repeat. it works. then build meanwhile alot of infantry cause when the last shrine/temple destroyed you gotta rush theyre base in the middle and destroy that dang HQ!

Simple, try it it worked for me :P
