  • When I first heard this I sat at the computer, mouth gaping, tears in my eyes. During the Packed To The Rafters episode I sat there and sang along instead of crying... Like a Boss :p

  • merda.

  • i like this version, its the same version as packed to the rafters!! The other version seems too fast or off beat. This one is the best. :)

  • @abarn41 Lost my granny two weeks ago and I completely understand what you mean... I play Sia around the house a lot these days...

And I understand what you are probably feeling.... its not easy especially if you guys were close...

  • Love you bub.

Beautiful video you did for It Get's Better, and now you have me flooding the loungeroom singing this to the death of Mel. You break my heart, and then heal it all up again.

Bless you Sia, travel safe, may happiness be a constant companion.

  • This song will remind me of the Rafters.....RIP Mel...

  • Packed to the rafters <3

  • tears! i have tears :) she is so magnificant.

  • Très belle chanson d'amour qui décrit à merveille l'attachement éternel malgré la distance !!!

  • Superb cover, incredible voice that suits this great song perfectly!

  • the original belongs to Pretenders. I love this song.

  • @allcatslover Does it really ? :O Didn't know that.

    Same. ; w ; <3

  • @NawtyMunky Actually, it was written by Ray Davies of the Kinks... and recorded in the 60's by Cher and Marion. But, the Pretenders did have a big hit with it, you're right about that...

  • @allcatslover Actually, it was written by Ray Davies of the Kinks... and recorded in the 60's by Cher and Marion. But, the Pretenders did have a big hit with it, you're right about that...

  • @allcatslover ummmmm no it was The Kinks lol

  • @allcatslover well, no -the original was and is Ray Davies`( of The Kinks) - but written for and first released to the public in 1965 by Peggy Lee.

  • @allcatslover No, Pretenders also covered the song wich was originaly made by the Kinks :)

  • @allcatslover ofcourse it doesn´t belong to The Pretenders ! Ray Davies ( of The Kinks )wrote this song in 1965 and it was released atleast 4 times already that same year by different artists and recorded and released atleast ten times before The Pretenders did a version in 1981 !

  • @allcatslover Nope original is from The Kinks. The pretenders covered it also, although The Pretenders version is a lot closer to Sia's.

  • @allcatslover actually, altho the pretenders did this song, it was originally recorded by Peggy Lee in 1965, the Kinks also recorded it I belive, then the Pretenders. Cher has sung it, but I prefer this version, I like t he bluesy sound and slow tempo. The writer of the song was in the Kinks, but he did not originally write it for the band. Wonderful song here by Sia....

  • @allcatslover THE ORIGINAL DOESN'T BELONG TO THE PRETENDERS, PLEASE. it belongs to the Kinks.

  • @allcatslover sorry but the kinks had a version before them

  • @allcatslover Sure it was Ray Davis from the kinks, english band, who wrote it. First recorded for peggy lee.

  • @allcatslover Nah ray davis from the kinks. English band. Peggy lee first recorded it

  • @allcatslover ummm..... no the original was done by "The Kinks" boo-yah!!!

  • @allcatslover The song was written and originally performed by Ray Davies of the Kinks.
