@allcatslover ofcourse it doesn´t belong to The Pretenders ! Ray Davies ( of The Kinks )wrote this song in 1965 and it was released atleast 4 times already that same year by different artists and recorded and released atleast ten times before The Pretenders did a version in 1981 !

@allcatslover actually, altho the pretenders did this song, it was originally recorded by Peggy Lee in 1965, the Kinks also recorded it I belive, then the Pretenders. Cher has sung it, but I prefer this version, I like t he bluesy sound and slow tempo. The writer of the song was in the Kinks, but he did not originally write it for the band. Wonderful song here by Sia....
