Wow, apparently I have been slacking in moderating some of the responses. Apparently some folks feel the the only way they can express their intelligence is through coarse language. While it may very well be the only way they can punctuate their statements, it comes across as childish and immature, not to mention grammatically it just doesn't make sense. Religion is manmade, something they put on a census form or job application as another way to discriminate. Spirituality comes from above. Either you believe in God or you don't. Either you accept Jesus Christ as your savior or you don't. It's that simple. I have accepted Christ as my savior.

You mistake Christianity for Religion. Keeping rules, a moral code or the law will not keep you from burning. God's law was put into place to help us recogniize we cannot possibly keep it. @dhella1 guess what im tryin to say is if u have faith in your routine rituals or rules rather than Jesus. its not gonna work. and we have rituals too. like holy communion. but we dont put our faith in that but in Jesus and have a relationship with him. thats why religion is set aside. religion doesn't really matter. but we do still have some religiousness in us we cant deny that.

You sound like a good person, I only hope you don't prosecute yourself for your human mistake instead of thinking God will smolder you with punishment. I'm just trying to reach out and console my brothers and sisters as HUMAN. Nothing more or less, and I don't think that's wrong. Human instinct drives us to rise above when circumstances are dire, and in these circumstances I'm choosing to reach out as human, not like God rules and dominates all.

I'm DOING God's work, I'm attempting to steady the balance between blind and deaf following, to being human. You should never forget that we all have urges, we all have emotion, we have anger, hatred, love, passion, loyalty, and people FORGET that!!!!! We should embrace our flaws and grow from them, rather than use God to shield us from that accountability. Don't get the wrong idea, I WAS a Christian, and a damn devoted one too. People were the problem, not the faith itself.

PEOPLE didn't die for you, only ONE did. He should be focus of faith, and NOBODY should be able to separate you from Him. If they did, you let them, and that's what a lot of people do. You're blaming those around you for your lost of faith, but really it seems to me as if you enjoy your sin. I'm not saying you shouldn't learn from your sin because you definitely should, I'm just saying if you learn from it, why would you embrace it and do it again?

You mistake Christianity for Religion. Keeping rules, a moral code or the law will not keep you from burning. God's law was put into place to help us recogniize we cannot possibly keep it. That puts our redemption soley on the shoulders of Jesus, lest we should boast in our own efforts. It is religion that tries to force you down the road of salvation by works.
