brazil vs usa, spain vs usa, argentina /italy vs usa.. bottom line USA wont see the podium at worlds in any freestyle event for a very very very long time !! as for this dude skating he is like 35 years old so dont worry about his future ! as for USA its no longer USA vs anyone !!!!!!
first he is from Brazil, 2nd where do you see a cheated jump? All the landings looked clean to me. Maybe you should post a vid showing the U.S. how the skate...cuz we really need YOUR help!
is this event sophomore? otherwise this is a prime example of how average is now great in the US. can skate well but items nothing more than sophomore at best.
He always was a great skater, since skating against me in the late '90. But you guys don't have to be mad about it. His coach, is the best in Brazil, and he's a great coach too. I'm a roller skater coach and respect all work that they do for YOU American skater's lost in time and swallowed by the Italians.
Enjoy his work and help. 'Cause maybe they can make American skaters better like you always was. Scott Cohen, Tim McGuire and others. Best for all of you.
I agree with you Ben. I think it's great that they have a Brazilian coach helping American skaters and trying to bring up the quality of skating, but it's not fair that the Brazilian skaters are winning American titles. Not only that, but there are a few that have skated down a level. I know two skaters, who are JWC skaters, and competed at worlds, who have skated sophomore and freshsman and won medals. These skaters, in particular, are not Brazilian, but Canadian. It's just not right.
Just another example of the "Selling of America" This guy is not a U.S. Citizen. Great Skater! Just not AMERICAN. I feel bad for the AMERICANS that got Disrepected by USA/RS or is it now USA/BRS (United States Assocation of Brazillian Roller Skating)by having AMERICAN titles won by FOREIGNERS. Why not give them their own event, instead of U.S. Titles being given to people from other Countries or CHANGE the NAME to the United States World Roller Skating Championships...
I disagree, the Brazilians have no advantage over the U.S. We can hold our own by improving. The U.S. skating community is smaller now then ever before, I say the more competitive the events the more we will push ourselves to be better.

There is no way this guy could do triples. His leg is wrapped around his neck and he doesn't jump very high.
