  • I must admit ..no doubt this is superb...elegant..refined! Can u please tell me about how much did u spend on it, the modifications, engine and of course the original car..how much did all cost? thx!

  • what a dream

  • is there a way to see more of the build? which v6 did u use?

  • @mackdaddie80 I had Dawie DeVilliers (famed Alfa engine builder) build me the engine from an Alfa Romeo 164. It's a 3L punched out to 3.7L. A link to the full build can be found in the video description. Over 5 years in the making.

  • Holy crap! This thing is gorgeous.

  • @SolusRest Thanks SoulsRest!

  • Rettenetesen ronda !

  • sick!!!

  • @prodkill Thanks prodkill!

  • Looks nice :) Rear lights are original, or replaced?

  • @Adamo1890 Thanks Adamo1890! They are the original lamps. I just sourced another set and stretched them inwards about 4 inches. In turn, I closed up the recessed tag area accordingly.

  • I had no idea what to do to my Alfa on the nose. The rest (except the rear diffuser) is pretty close to what I had in mind; only in red... Well done indeed!!!!!

  • @ressexy Thanks ressexy! Great minds think alike!

  • best spider ive ever seen

  • @Robipalusaable Thanks Robipausaable!

  • shit O.O u can haz manymany cheezburger fo dat!

  • @aRsh0 Thanks aRsh0!

  • One of the most beautiful cars EVER!!! GREAT JOB

  • @mackdaddie80 Thanks mackdaddie80! It was and still is a lot of work. So much that has been done is very well hidden. Countless hours spent on just pencil drafts alone. Nevermind all the fabrication time!!

  • This thing is INSANE!

  • Never cared for the "Chrysler" Spiders (have an '85 Veloce), but that is a beautiful upgrade! I read you are using a 105 tranny - how do you keep from breaking the rubber doughnut? I boosted the 2 litre to a little over 200hp and I'm breaking one every summer!

  • @mrmaser Thanks mrmaser! Only preliminary testing has been done as the car needs to make a trip to the dyno for final tuning. I don't use the rubber donut for just that reason. I utilize the Alfaholics aluminum propshaft - full conversion with no lag. With 375 at the crank, this was a mandatory upgrade!!! My 105 trans has OS Giken gears - lightened, close ratio and shot peened for added strength. All that into an S4 auto differential for higher top end, strength and durability.

  • Look Awesome, congratz from a alfa fan

  • @DjRSesp Thanks DjRSesp! Respect Bro!

  • yeah! that's rock!

  • @mikilyyyyy Thanks mikilyyyyy!!

  • might be the most beautiful AR Spider ever!!

  • @DaMastaOfRoad Thanks DaMastaOfRoad! I design for those that want to see progression while paying tribute to the original design. To me, this is what the Spider should look like in 2012 if Alfa kept building it.

  • @diablo3724 yeah i see what you mean! like a reinterpretation? well done in any case :) looks like a lot of work

  • now: a video with it running!

  • @Xaevi Soon Bro. Stay tuned I'm in the final detail stages. But first, it'll be going to the dyno in the spring!! You don't wanna miss that. Trust me.

  • absolutely gorgeous

  • @jolianthom Thanks jolianthom!

  • Just subscribed to your channel so that I can see the progress you make and this beauty finished. She's a beauty that's for sure!

  • @DionysisX Thanks DionysisX! Stay tuned. Just working on interior clean-up at the moment (heater, glass, locks ect..) Looking at spring 2012 for it's debut!

  • Stunning car but bloody awful music. Any vids of the car being used?.

  • @IAINOGLETHORPE Final tuning will be in the spring.

  • we need to see it run!

  • @Mr2crazybyong You will!! I just finished having the custom 3 inch exhaust fabricated and installed, Just have to do a little work on the interior and then off to the dyno in the spring. Trust me. The sound will be absolutely BRUTAL!!!

  • @diablo3724

    L@@ks Awsome, id be proud!

Damn nice ride bro, Congrats on your Good taste.

  • @1521joe Thanks 1521joe! This has been a 5 year battle to get this car to where it is. Since then, it's been hell most of the time trying to find all the right lines. But it has all worked out. Tune into the website for all the latest!!

  • @diablo3724 I have done a lot to my Spider, body and paint, parts etc and your video make me feel like I haven't done $hi+!!! awesome car as it is!... can't wait to see that dyno test and hear that exhaust sound

  • @CLAUDIOZ06 Thanks CLAUDIOZ06! I'm not hear to compete with anyone LOL!! I just enjoy creating a vision and driving car that I had the input in. Just as yourself. Keep at it on your end and you'll never be unhappy or dissatisfied! Just wait! The dyno session is gonna blow your speakers!!

  • beautiful! im inlove! great work..

  • @Mr2crazybyong Thanks Mr2crazybyong!

  • Awesome, greetings from an Austrian Alfa Enthusiast, located not far away from Milano.

  • @fluke9 Thanks fluke9! Greeting from Toronto, Canada!

  • Fired it up !!

  • @jerrhan All hell will break loose when we do the dyno tuning in the spring! Stay tuned for that vid!!

  • stunning..nice work

  • @thebirdman666 Thanks thebirdman666!

  • where is arms?

  • i wanted to hate it, but its pretty sweet... Is that a 240 sx rear?

  • Thanks trex65ghia! You can hate it, it's ok. I've taken a lot of heat over the years. But I'm glad you like it. It's all good. The car is 100% Alfa aside from the Ferrari F430 diffuser. But even that diffuser has been SERIOUSLY modified. The rear tails I'm assuming you are referring to are stock Alfa tail lights that have been sectioned and stretched 2.25 inches to promote a more flowing rear section. Once again, just like the rest of the car, she's all Alfa, just tweaked

  • @diablo3724 You did a good job. I want it.......Would be fun in the small streets of New Orleans.

  • this is apsolutely perfect car , well done mate

  • @Chvija1986 Thanks Chvija 1986! While it's not complete yet. I'm still going through a lot of detail work to make it perfect! Stay tuned for more vids coming soon!

  • @diablo3724 Take ur time, make it perfect! I'll follow ur progres, no doubt about that :-) Best of luck

  • very clean!! thumbs up

  • @phatmiata Thnaks phatmiata! It's been a real battle to keep the concept in line, but all has worked out!

  • X treme nice car but....stupid music :-(

  • oooo nice wheels!!

  • @MAX75ALFAROMEO Thanks MAX75ALFAROMEO! I wanted to be the first to max out a set of CCW Classics on a Spider!

  • name of the song please?! awesome car btw!!

  • @fallenpriest1990 Thanks fallenpriest! Kanye West - Devil In A Blue Dress

  • Hey, what's this particular kind called? When I google Alfa Romeo spider, a different model comes up. The one with 3 mini head lights.

    What's this one called?

    Thank you

  • @asopaso07 This is/was a 1991 AR Spider. Google that year and compare from that. Every line on this Spider has been tweaked and refined to what I would imagine a 2011-12 version would appear as. The last year of production for this stock styling was 1994.

  • Favolosa !

  • @fotonez Thanks fotonez!

  • One day ....

  • One bad ass Alfa on CCW's ftw!

  • @joealaniz Thanks joealaniz! Yeah, I fell in love with these CCW's when I saw them. Even more so when I knew I would be able to get a 4.5 inch lip out back and 3.5 up front!! And all without major fender work!

  • Wow that looks great. I like the back and the side especially. I saw the works on Alfabb. Can't wait to hear the engine music.

  • @aboutblankita Thanks aboutblankita! The AlfaBB is where all the latest updates are. Stay tuned!

  • Do you have any video of her running? 164 3.0 sounds awesome imho

  • @thrax777 Thanks thrax777! I will soon. Stay tuned!!

  • Pure sex!!

  • @doo0T Thanks do0t!

  • looks great! nice work!

  • @stefanogtv Thanks stefanogtv!

  • Looks sweet Diablo, definitely gonna be a diablo negro! Or as Jay Kay might put it Black Devil Car!

Man did you loose your youtube account?? I'm just checking up on the progress and i thought you had loads of vids on here before!

Anyway man it's looking great and still can't wait to see this car when it is totally finished although you seem like the sort of guy that will not be satisfied until it is absolutely perfect.

    Peace out

  • @foufdog Thanks foufdog! I deleted all those earlier vids due to almost having the car's exterior where I want it. Work is on-going behind the scenes even when blog updates or videos aren't being released. All in all, these details take time.

  • Nicely done!

  • @josiahsixkiller Thanks josjahsixkiller!

  • Is it an Alfa motor?

  • @josiahsixkiller Yes. From the Alfa Romeo 164 sedan which was oiginally a 3.0L. Mine is punched out to 3.7L

  • Looks amazing. The only criticism can be made is about the rims. They look good too, but in my opinion a special Alfa Romeo like this should have original Alfa Romeo rims. Can you also share a video which shows the car in action?

  • @master286 Thanks master286! But OEM rims have weak offsets with shallow lips and are too heavy for my requirements - Alfa Romeo Included. These 18x9 CCW`s drop in at 17lbs, have a beautiful step-lip design and visually echo the sound of the 3.7L 24V V6 that Famed Alfa engine builder, Dawied DeVilliers built. The rims hit hard and blending in with other Alfas is not what I or the Spider is about. It's for that same reason why it's not red.

  • Sick !

  • Fantastic!

  • @levlevi Thanks levlevi!

  • @diablo3724 This is the best Spider i have ever seen and I am pretty comfident i will not see better one any soon. I have Alfa as well, 156 in fact

  • @levlevi Thanks again for the kind words levlevi! As you know, 156's are not available here in Canada or the States. Hopefully, Alfa will get their act together and realize that these cars are wanted in the western world as well.

To anyone interested in all the latest updates on the Spider, check out the build thread via the website link on my channel page!!

  • @diablo3724 156 is a very very good car. mine is 2.0 twin spark, I'm going to get 2.5 in couple months ;)

    Forza Alfa

  • holy shit.....

  • @kinski75 Thanks kinski75! Stay tuned for Part 2 coming soon!!

  • Definitely the cleanest Spider I've seen! The CCWs, BBK and stance are PERFECT. Its going to be great!

  • @S30TurboZ Thanks S30TurboZ! Yeah, CCW Classics offer the best combination of complete custom fitting, super slick design and light. The BBK was done by GiroDisc. They took all the car's specifics and put together a system with 13" GiroDisc rotors with floating hats and 4 piston Rotora calipers. All linked up to a duel master system. Stance by RSR coilovers and dropped spindles!! Plus a whole other host of mods to bring all it all together. The list is endless!!

  • clean as black ICE very nice good LOOK love the mods

  • @t16vultra @t16vultra Thanks t16vultra! Glad you along with others like the mods. With as personal as the changes have been, I'm humbled by the overwhelming positive responses! Stay tuned! More updated vids soon of the latest work completed!!

  • MMMM GREAT JOB,,,, VERY NICE LOOKS THAT ALFA SPIDER... IF I OWNED IT I WOULD HAVE IT IN RED WITH SILVER ALLOYS,,,, EVEN THOUGH LOOKS GREAT IN BLACK TOO !!! GREAT CAR AND IT IS AN ALFA ROMEO ....

  • @nikos1300 Thanks nikos 1300! Not a fan of red as a lot of Alfas are. It's black to reflect it's purpose - a car that will seldom be seen and only taken out for hard runs. Other than that, it's locked up and under a tarp.

  • @diablo3724 I think you should drive it out more often. such a beautiful car really is a waste to spend most of its time park away from outside view.

  • @ToyotaGT1Racer Thanks ToyotaGT1Racer! Car is a dedicated street burner - nothing more. Me personally? Well, I'm not a fan of car shows or showing off. It's just a stress relief and that's how I want to use it. Something about having an uncommon, specific purpose for something I've basically designed from the ground up, is the appeal.

  • @diablo3724 Like your thinking.

  • @ToyotaGT1Racer Thanks ToyotaGT1Racer! I've been asked to bring the car to car shows but I've always declined. A friend said recently, "this car will be like Sasquatch - you're not even sure if it even exists as only a few have claimed to of seen it!! LOL!!

  • great car man

  • @samilcanguder Thanks samilcanguder! More on the way soon!

  • Thanks awan27! Not to worry. Details will be revealed in future videos.

  • All perfect ,just little thing . it needs some chrome in grille

  • Looks gorgeous, and I'm not trying to hate (SERIOUSLY) but how are you ever going to drive it?

  • @nightmathzombieethan Thanks nightmathzombieethan! It looks a lot lower than it is due to the cast shadows. I have 3 inches of ground clearance up front. Besides, this Spider goes nowhere that I've not already been and verified.

  • @diablo3724 Yeah, it looks like you've got about half an inch of clearance! LOL I couldn't get away with driving something that low where I live, but lucky for you! Bonus points for originality too, I don't think I've ever seen an Alfa Romeo pimped out before and considering that they're gorgeous to start with, it's good to see that you improved it (not ruined it).

  • wow-its a really cool spider!!

  • @MrSepp1964 Thanks MrSepp1964! It was and still is a lot of work!

  • wow !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @hellimonelli77 Thanks hellimonelli!

  • And if you are from the east coast, come to H20i in Ocean City Maryland!

  • @NCDropkickSquad Thanks for the invite, but, nah. Not really into shows n' the whole scene. Plus, I'm not the show off type. The car is only taken out for hard runs. That's it's sole purpose. Otherwise, it sits under a tarp and locked up.

  • Those CCW Classics.....Damn.

    Looks dope man, absolutely.

  • @NCDropkickSquad Thanks NCDropkickSquad! Yeah, I fell in love with CCW's Classics the moment I saw them. I've narrowed the rear end axles and differential housing 2.25 inches to get the most lip I could without having to flare the rear fenders past it's original shape that works with the tapering rear of the body.

  • nice!

  • @christophe220787 Thanks christophe220787!

  • Wow...! It is very rare that you see someone modify an older or classic car, and actually make it look good. This looks good. Very good. The aesthetic balance is excellent! Even the test paint job doesn't look half bad, can't wait to see the final version. Also, some interior shots would be nice too, I can't imagine you left that stock.

  • @UsagiTGR @UsagiTGR Thanks UsagiTGR! Yeah, the balance was quite difficult to get right and I spent many late nights at the garage trying to figure out the best lines, which I'm still doing!! The process has been very rewarding and it's quite satisfying to see progress. The interior has been changed as well. Just more updated with cleaner lines. Stay tuned for updates there soon!!

  • its unbeleveable,GREAT JOB MAN,but if i was you,i would keep the car exactly as it looked like when it was new,the lowering and wheels and everything else is just stunning

  • @Proxo20 Thanks Proxo! I bought this spider as a rolling shell and It had nothing but a gutted interior and stock wheels. After 4 and a half years, it's finally stating to look like what I had envisioned. Basically every panel has been modified along with all the running gear. Glad you like it!

  • I'm in love with your Spider! The front is too sexy! I want that look on my MiTo, but I know it's impossible... keep up that good work, can't wait to see more of this beauty. Your a true insparation to me! Props from Germany.

  • @smaxtelevision Thanks smaxtelevision! Tons of fabrication hours in the front end. Man! I cannot even begin to tell you how much time was spent on that alone, perfecting it. Just when I thought I was done, I scrapped the entire internal bumper design and arrived at what you see mocked in the vid. Stay tuned! More to come!

  • That is a very good modified spider and that front bumper is even better than the original and thats saying something, tastefully executed.

  • @TheForza1000 Thanks The Forza1000! I did what I felt was a vast improvement. The original bumpers are a mess. They jut out from the body, don't follow the lines of the nose and totally look tacked on. What I wanted to achieve, was a continuing line that hugged the nose as it flowed down and around towards the ground.

  • brutal

  • @PilsnerPedro Thanks PilsnerPedro! Hearing it only amplifies what you said!!

  • too nice

  • @niyahlanya Thanks niyahlanya!

  • wow... i am a hardcore mustang and muscle car guy, but this car is simply amazing. i can see the resemblance to my dad's 84 spider, however, it looks like it is "roided out" a bit. cheers :)

  • @mustangguy150 Thanks mustangguy150! She's been on a steady dose of Sustanon 250 and Deca for years!!

  • what song is this !?

  • @basje54321 Kayne West - Devil In A New Dress

  • hellaflush

  • @Pyr01 Yeah, I had to do a lot of work to get it to sit like that! Thanks Pyro1!

  • More or less I'm Shorts little bro and I gotta say...... this is one SICK ass Spyder!!!!!

  • @Dime6String Hey Bro! I've heard so much about you through your brother. Thanks for the love!! You're Bro is one talented guy!

  • speedbumps could be a problem, but then again, its a track setup, will this cherry appear on SA race tracks?

  • @sscholle333 Thanks sscholle333! I do have more clearance that it looks. But this is no daily driver that will encounter ANY speed bumps. It`s what I call a "burner" - a car that`'s only taken out to do hard runs. Nothing more. I'd love to get it down to SA and run with other seriously tuned Alfas. That is one thing on my wish list and I'm sure Dawie DeVilliers (that built my engine) would love to see it!!

  • THIS IS JUST F**CKING PERFECT JOB.... Love Alfas love la Passione but this Spider is beyond anything its Perfect

  • @a223kk Thanks a223kk! Glad you like the redesign. It`s been years in the making by a couple of very talented individuals.

  • FANTASTICA!!!!

  • @SLASHBIKER1980 Thanks Bro! More on the way soon!!

  • to think u started over 4 years ago right around i got my first alfa i wish i could afford a 3.7 with mods like that to the suspension and exterior

looks amazing im sure its as quick as much as sex appeal it has

  • hey I got a 91 spider just like yours, Where did you get those wheels???????? I CANNOT find that bolt pattern 4x108

  • @CLAUDIOZ06 Wheels were custom built to spec. Forget about getting anything even remotely close "off the shelf".

  • @diablo3724 ooh damit, well at least I won't waste my time looking but i did found a spacer conversion from 4x108 to popular 5 lugs :D. Thanks for the reply and that is a hot car take good care of it.

  • can i ask about the wheel specs?

  • @gantnertamas 18x9 - 3.5 inch lip up front and 4.5 inch lips out back.

  • The most beautiful alfa i ever seen. Congrats!

  • @gantnertamas Thanks ganertamas! It hasn't been easy. Can't even begin to tell you how much sleep I've lost over the years trying to solve problems and design issues/tweaks.

  • That car is absolutely gorgeous. Im drooling.

  • @BearsDkills Thanks BearsDkills! It was /is a lot of work. Too many mods to even get into here. For every single detail, you can check out the build thread!

  • This car is boss as fuck. Great work!

  • @deliberately Thanks deliberately! More work on the way!

  • Sexy ass car. I just checked out your build thread, you obviously put a lot of work into this car and it really shows.Great job Sir.

  • @Tat2Dragons Thanks Tat2Dragons! Yeah, that thread is a monster and just jam-packed with mod upon mod. So many of them very subtle. Hopefully you caught some of the process!!

  • @diablo3724 You're welcome. I caught most of it, I'll have to go back later and check out more.

  • You sick bastard now your making me regret selling mine aaahh I hate the feeling but the car looks fantastic enjoy and good luck!

  • @diablo9769 LOL!! Thanks Bro! Testing will begin soon!! Stay tuned!! You're not gonna wanna miss those vids!!

  • Stunning in everyway. Well done been watching your progress for ages. The final result is perfect.

  • @Altosportivo2010 Thanks for following. She's not done yet, but it's getting there. As you know, I don't shoot videos too often, but there are key stages coming soon and I'll shoot each of them!! Stay tuned!!

  • dammmmmmmmmmmmm been watching your vids since the very start very very nice,

  • @masurferkidd Thanks for hanging in there. I know it's been awhile, but every mod has been worth it!

  • trully great, show us the interior please :D

  • @gregorybasakiotis Thanks! Interior is being worked on now. Will show soon or follow along at the website!!

  • changed the wheels again?
