Your dog looks very happy, I'm glad that he is with a nice family. I love dogs (other animals as well). I was very sad when my dog died but I was glad that I made the life of one living being easy and happy. That gives me huge satisfaction.
Buddy is a black lab. He's around 8 as well and is starting to slow down a little now, but he was the most hyper puppy I have ever seen. They really are great dogs. Thanks for the comment!
He looks exactly like my black Labrador/ Chesapeake mix. That breed is technically a mutt, but they are so closely similar it just creates a large black lab. Great dogs. Mine's about 8 and she is still the most playful dog I've ever had.
