@MaZoku82 borla sucks for the GTI....imo. I mean cat-back sounds great on these cars but the Borla model bloooooows. I think so anyways. that's why I didn't get it...cuz usually Borla takes the cake in exhaust. Not the case w/ their cat-back for the MKV GTI...

My car has the exact same sound when I installed mine today! At first I thought I messed up but after driving around with it I think its pretty normal :p

alright i figured out how to replicate this...you just Tap the gas really fast after you build up boost and you release the gas.

@mikepartyboy Yeah, its the same way you bypass the rev limited on a stock car, you can't just hold the pedal in, it will hit the RL and stop, you gotta force it, or purge it haha.

thats not a cold air... the cold air is an extended piece that sits right behind the left fog vent

i got a question, what's the difference between a cold air intake and a p-flo cold air intake...i have a passat b3, and i couldn;t find a cold air intake, the p-flo is the only thing i found for it...thanks for the help, appreciate it

the p flo is a real good short ram intake that will give you just as much performance as a cai would and i think they sound better too. you should go for it.

i got me me an 09 gti like 3 weeks ago my 2nd vw its real nice and fast and the dealer did something to the exhuast its not stock but its louder and deeper and they changed one of the turbo hoses for more boost

i just ordered a neuspeed p-flo,i really did not know it will sound like this,i have a 08 gti,i was so used to the sound of my vr6 corrado,much much different from 2.0t fsi,i read if you have a 08-up gti the dv oem have been modified to a G model they say it last longer.

congrats on the intake.. yeah ofcourse it'll sound diffrent cuz ur moved from a 6 cyl natural espirated car to a 4 cyl forced insuction car.. it's true abt the G valve.. it's last longer but ofcourse u'll need to change it if u get a stage to tune from revo or APR

you can't put a functional BOV on this engine I was reading. The way they have the turbo piped you can't.

honestly the first 3 revs sound like there is some compressor surge... which shouldnt be happening with just a cai. maybe the sound is cut up or something...

i think the stock dv valve might be faulty then... cause you can look at other videos with the same cai and you wont hear the flutter

trust me... there is nothing wrong with my DV.. the blow-off comes when i let go of the pedal and then give it a little push..

i know when they blow off, its just i havent heard that flutter before (unless the bov couldnt handle too much air or compressor surge) and it wont be compressor surge, so just giving you my 2 cents.

okay cuz my buddy got the forge dv the p-flow intake the delete pipe. the bigger turbo inlet pipe. REVO stage 1 and 2 what a difference. eurojet full turbo back exhaust. he wrecked it last month. never mix driking fast car and strip club's but he got the black stripe now and all that good stuff. see we put the intake and the forge on at the same time. i didnt know it still made that sound even without one the forge does make a difference tho. ull make more boost. my buddy'is about 21psi on stg 2
