I love Sister Chang Khong. She is funny, warm, and adorable. Just spent 6 days on retreat @ Blue Cliff Monastery. She is a real joy!

@alci720 great! thanks for your post.. yes, i always remember these sessions, it was 2007 and i can not forget these one night, i was able to spent with them here in berlin. deep, deep impression they all made! (since more than a year I'm able to sit every morning for 20min in zazen! and once a year I'm going to a selfmade retreat with friends...

In 2005 and 2007 Thich Nhat Hanh returned to Vietnam to help the communist regime to improve its bad image for religious oppression. In exchange, the communists promised to allow him to practice religion in Vietnam and establish Bat Nha monastery. But in September 2009, Vietnamese authorities launched a violent crackdown on his followers at the monastery, fearing his popularity among the youth could pose a threat to the communist leadership.
