This entire game totally shows how idiotic people will act just because of a glimpse of god. A slightly biblical thing happens, similiar but not actual, happens and people blow them selves up.

This game has nothing to do with religion, the marker held the aliens inside the planet and when they cracked it, the aliens excaped. if you have ever seen the movie they tell you that in the end.

Main Antagonist: Religious fanatic named doctor mercer. Main reason disaster happened: Religon known as Unitology. Main point of game: People are so blinded by faith they can't see the real truth.

Marker had nothing to do with religon really, but it still played a religious role. The game's story features alot of religious stuff and so did the movie.
