i have a gps model gold wing '08... i drove it from green bay wisconsin to fort jackson army base in columbia south carolina in about 15hrs... it was a great ride.. cant imagine riding any other kind.... love it. 1830 goldwing!
@vollrathj ....Thats my friends Gold Wing. He loves it. I like my V-Star, light weight but cruises good. Watched your North Houston video. I've been through there hundreds of times.
@gst69man The V-Star is a great bike. Light weight but still good for cruising around 80 MPH in West Texas. The camera is usually attached to my helmet but I've got some views of my Star on -" Motorcycle Rides, Best Stress Relief." Thanks for the comment. Have fun riding your V-Star.
Haha, cool video. I just drove a Honda Silverwing today, first time ever on a 2-wheel vehicle (aside from a bicycle, LOL). Didn't realize how fun bikes were until today, I had a blast even though I only got up to around 35mph (not licensed so stayed off the highway etc.) That Goldwing looks awesome, wish I had one. Gives me something to aspire to later in life I suppose, good times. The Silverwing is basically just a much less extravagant version I guess but it was still a blast to ride.
Get on that SiverWing and do some riding. Its the perfect time of year. I've just started enjoying the sightseeing part of riding the last few years. If you are planning some riding in Texas, there are beautiful destinations. Thanks for the comment.
A goldwing is just a car with two wheels. I guess if you are riding 400 or 500 miles but most guys with goldwings spend more time washing them than riding them.
Was able to ride from Houston to Gainsville, Fla only stopping for gas and food...never got tired and never had to use head phones to hear the stero. As for my riding buddy on Harley...after the trip, he bought a Gold Wing.
I ride a Harley but Goldwings are cool, In the wind is in the wind and there is nothing wrong with being comfy on a long rode trip. As for washing them, Like I said I ride a Harley and i see more Harley guys washing then riding. That just my 2 cents, so each to there own!
this is sweet its like trail riding... but on a motorcycle..

That's my buddy's Goldwing. He paid around 22000. There are some great deals on New bikes that are sitting from 07 & 08 but never sold.

have ever been inside a car? a goldwing is like a ufo when you are putting 1000miles or more per day in almost any weather condition.

What kind of Helmet camera is that ? I've been looking for one.

The camcorder is a Flip 'Ultra' taped to the helmet. It looks pretty goofy going down the road.

Pretty damn narrow road. The songs go with the video.
