Get rid of the singer, and you got a band worth listening to. The screaming sounds good and the riffs don't sound bad, but the singing is annoying to me and kind of punk sounding.
Well I tryed and I cant the 2:05 double bass pattens perfectly, but in 2 days I will:DAnd I cant the cymbals at 3:34, but then the AWESOME BASS PATTENRS I can.
Hardest song Ive seen, I was just playing the first minute in my band.
I played this with my friends, but we were just rehersing. The double bas patterns is my strong point, but the cymbals change I dont do, I do but I dont give the perfect sound. Those guys hit always perfectly...
Btw Im from portugal, youre from new zeland I hope you find a drummer, your videos rock... rellly! This is really my music style.
Dude no one is going to bother doing your "challenge" for all we know you have no connections with the band... besides it's sounds shit I wouldn't touch this song with a barge pole.
@instantsurgery What do you mean "for all we know" ? Look at my other videos. Otherwise, speak for yourself if you choose to remain ignorant. Secondly I'm sure "it's" sounds fine, because someone actually did audition for it and the band are playing gigs now.
@xmoopzx lol i spend 10 mins a day on youtube you fucktard... i have a brilliant life and brilliant job thank you very much. Get back to me in a few years and we'll see where they're at... you know i'm right
@jacobcampbell123 No. Obviously there are many drummers who can play this. But the point is that it's a challenge for people who watch the video to play it, not to name drummers who can. Put up or shut up.
I was going to say it sounds like 3/4 up till :42. But ya, it is 6/8 because it's doubled. Playing jazz really helped my metal playing. Because let's say if the whole band is playing 6/8, the drummer could play it in half-time which would be 3/4 and would still fit. Or lets say the band is playing 4/4, the drummer could do 8/8 which would be just doubling it. Other stuff you learn in jazz is learning how to play in 3/4 when the band is playing 4/4 and actually making it work.
6/8 from 0:00 until 0:32, then 4 bars of 7/8, the third of which doesn't have an accent on the first count which makes it sound more 'mathy' than it really is.
6/8 from 0:00 until 0:32, then 4 bars of 7/8, the third of which doesn't have an accent on the first count which makes it sound more 'mathy' than it really is.

so i found this and i tried it on drums with it playing, and it is not that difficult for me, just a tad off on some parts because i cant hear certain things like what cymbol, how many hits on the bass, etc. i just wish i could record it and show you but i have no camera
yeah pretty dope technical drumming, but i bet Kevin Lane from Whitechapel could tear the drums apart on this song..its a radical song though..can't lie bout that
I think it's funny how everyone who says it's easy and that they could do it, haven't put up responses. Two guitar players did, but no drummers hahaha
ajajajaja wtf??? you think this is incredible??? all the song's of all shall perish and august burns red are more dificult than this! listen. the faceless, that it's a fucking real drummer!!!
Not saying this is easy because im sure its not but it's kind of hard to prove you can play it if theirs no drum chart listed. You wont know if your playing it 100% right
I just auditioned to be the guitarist for this band actually. I did a version of this on youtube. its on my channel. check it out! My friend Ryan Wilson is the drummer. I hope I get the part! everyone look! these guys are awesome!! EoE represent!
That's exactly the type of band I would like to play in. Too bad you're literally on the opposite side of the world or I would seriously audition, though i only have about 13 pieces on my drumset, not 347
branden morgan can play this... too bad he's the drummer of the sickest band in the world misery signals... dude don't be so arrogant that no one could play this... you'll never know...
I'm well aware that most professional drummers can play this. Nevertheless I wouldnt downplay it's difficulty. If you think you can do it, go ahead, make a video.
that was rap with a capital C

it isn't that difficult, it's hard to learn because the recording quality isn't clear at all and it's unpredictable.
jacobcampbell123 1 year ago
@jacobcampbell123 And i'm aware of that. Talk is so cheap though. Less talk, more walk.
