I can't use a Zune because of the crap MS calls "Zune Pass". Sure, you can download and listen to all of the music you want for a flat fee - but as soon as your subscription is up, bye-bye music. MS has managed to trick people into thinking that licensing your music library is a good idea. I think Amazon set the industry straight when they said: You can buy the songs, non-DRM as an MP3.
@Kuhnaydeein I'm not doing anything wrong, my old pod worked fine (until someone stole it), and this new one worked fine for about four months. It just gradually got shittier and shittier, first with certain songs becoming corrupted and not playing, and now I can't even load hardly anything onto it.. I'm not retarded, iTunes is very easy to use, my iPod is just a piece of shit even though I bought it new. Fuck Apple.
It's called getting an ipod touch if you want to but music right there. Takes about 2 seconds if you want to do it through a computer. If u ask me ipods kick zunes ass in picture and speed. And besiding xbox, microsoft sucks at everything they do. Apple ftw.

The only thing with Zune is that the interface on your pc can get a little sketchy sometimes and you have to update... I don't know if that's true for ipod.

Zune HD meets most Sony music players' sound quality(excluding the $600 audio recorder.) with its Wolfson chip. To get decent audio quality, you also need an amp and a good earphone/headphone.

I could put a lossless mp3 on my Zune and another on my friends iPod...play them through the same set of headphones and yet they would sound distinctly different based on how the player reads the source. That's the reason why some people have been begging for equalizers on their mp3 players.
The player has little to nothing to do with the quality of the music. It's all in how the file is configured, and, of course, what headphones you are using. I have a very basic Sansa MP3 player, 8 GB,does the job nicely. The headphones? Bose. The quality? Like I'm at a music even every time! So basically, just optimize your format settings for your songs, and shell out $50+ for a decent pair of headphones.

you have a very valid point but xbox 360 is definitely the crappiest of the 3 systems. it is more powerful than wii but all of the good games it has, ps3 has, its very restricted compared to the other 2, and it has terrible hardware problems. i'm not an apple fan either, but microsoft sucks too. zune was the only thing they ever made that didn't really have anything wrong with it, other than the fact that its just 1 more thing thats a stolen idea
What ideas are stolen? Hell, the first mp3 player came out 3 years before the ipod. So, dosen't that mean apple stole ideas from that company to create their own licensed mp3 player? If people didn't use the ideas of others, then there would be no advancement in technology. If anything, microsoft "incorporates" as many ideas of apple's and vice versa. They use each other's ideas in competition. It's to prevent a monopoly of mp3 players.

iriver made the MP3 player more innovative then ever before.... not Apple. For example, sound recording on iriver was launched years before it ever came to iPod. And iriver also came out first. iPod wasn't the first MP3 player to play video either. Scandisk was atleast 2 years ahead of iPod.. Nor was iPod the first to use Radio, wifi, etc. Innovative? Not really..

I have to laugh... When you share a song with a Zune, you only get to listen to it like 3 times... and Microsoft tries to make it sound like when you share it, both people get the song without any limits. Phail.
But who would want to go through their music and do that constantly? And who would know how? Exactly. And besides, it's only a matter of time before Microsoft figures that trick out, then *BOOM* software update and the "bug" is fixed.

Ok take a hit at this: You let someone borrow your Zune. How do you know which songs they want? So you have to do it for all of them. NOT EVERYONE KNOWS ANY TRICK. Especially this one. Of the few Zune users I know, none know this trick. Microsoft could patch it so that you can't change a purchased song to the Podcast genre. duh. They would do it. They are a money-hungry company.

iTunes deletes everything on my iPod whenever I try to load more than 5 or 6 albums (total, not at the same time).
Talk about convenience! Can't get more than 5gbs on a 160gb iPod! Totally worth the money!

Zune HD meets most Sony music players' sound quality(excluding the $600 audio recorder.) with its Wolfson chip. To get decent audio quality, you also need an amp and a good earphone/headphone.

I could put a lossless mp3 on my Zune and another on my friends iPod...play them through the same set of headphones and yet they would sound distinctly different based on how the player reads the source. That's the reason why some people have been begging for equalizers on their mp3 players.

The player has little to nothing to do with the quality of the music. It's all in how the file is configured, and, of course, what headphones you are using. I have a very basic Sansa MP3 player, 8 GB,does the job nicely. The headphones? Bose. The quality? Like I'm at a music even every time! So basically, just optimize your format settings for your songs, and shell out $50+ for a decent pair of headphones.

you have a very valid point but xbox 360 is definitely the crappiest of the 3 systems. it is more powerful than wii but all of the good games it has, ps3 has, its very restricted compared to the other 2, and it has terrible hardware problems. i'm not an apple fan either, but microsoft sucks too. zune was the only thing they ever made that didn't really have anything wrong with it, other than the fact that its just 1 more thing thats a stolen idea

What ideas are stolen? Hell, the first mp3 player came out 3 years before the ipod. So, dosen't that mean apple stole ideas from that company to create their own licensed mp3 player? If people didn't use the ideas of others, then there would be no advancement in technology. If anything, microsoft "incorporates" as many ideas of apple's and vice versa. They use each other's ideas in competition. It's to prevent a monopoly of mp3 players.
Apple's not as innocent as you make them out to be.

iriver made the MP3 player more innovative then ever before.... not Apple. For example, sound recording on iriver was launched years before it ever came to iPod. And iriver also came out first. iPod wasn't the first MP3 player to play video either. Scandisk was atleast 2 years ahead of iPod.. Nor was iPod the first to use Radio, wifi, etc. Innovative? Not really..

ipods only have FM if u buy an extra addon where zune its standard and with the Zune HD its an HD radio which is still quite rare to find in devices, but as with things that sell the best arent always the best ur 100% right (cause transformers 2 was just fantastic :P )...... IMO id take a Creative or a ZUNE over an IPOD.... another thing is that they add Iphone numbers into that which to be honest isnt right......... its a phone its a different market it shouldn't be compared .......

Touch screen, Wi-Fi access(From any available zone), HD screen(of course), HD radio, games, music, movies, all the old features and so much more. I find it sorta funny, when zune first came out I heard that it beat the original iPod, now Microsoft is competeing against the iPod touch. What's Microsoft gonna do next? Try to make a ZunePhone that uses Verizon(I personally preffer verison over AT&T)

Ok take a hit at this: You let someone borrow your Zune. How do you know which songs they want? So you have to do it for all of them. NOT EVERYONE KNOWS ANY TRICK. Especially this one. Of the few Zune users I know, none know this trick. Microsoft could patch it so that you can't change a purchased song to the Podcast genre. duh. They would do it. They are a money-hungry company.
