The reason they cost so much is because they are hand made, in other words they are smithed, yes smithed as in made by black smiths that are still around is my guess. and made in europe. according to the answer, they are made by 2 guys in switzerland. in other words, you forget about buying it. Because they can't be mass produced or they'll suck.

@JCFoltz they're only made in switzerland. yes they are handcrafted by only 2 people. whenever people are to buy them, they must sign a release saying they will not sell them to anyone else, only back to the place they bought it, for the exact same price. thus making them super rare. also the cost of air-fare to fly there just to buy them for $1500USD +
