one thing i dont like about il-2 is that when ships attack each other even at long range the machineguns always fire. they should make the machineguns only fire at planes. otherwise its unrealistic./

But one question, How did you manage to fly the TBM? any help with this question would be great and how did u set up the battle? for instance i dont know how to pick alot of ships for the american and jap side so i can just have a skirmish (if that makes sence) thanks!

thanks man im glad you liked it! in this i actually didnt fly the TBM, and by default you cant. but there is a way to fly it into multiplayer games which if your interested on that i could message you on how to make that work in detail. as far as ships, the only battleships the game provides are british and german, so i set out to just use 'japanese default BB' which is the british ship, did the same with the US, and put in the correct destroyers and such for each country. hope that helps

Thankyou very much, I'm glad that you enjoyed it! Yea maybe I'm a little over critical of my work, but I never really thought that any of my movies were that good at all :P. And this one is extremely old, and it was made before I even started using Sony Vegas (i made this in windows movie maker).

lol, low and fast is exactly what i was going to suggest to you, but keep in mind any bomber is going to be slower than lighter planes. you could try dive bombing like i did in this video staying high should not be as devastating and diving in will give you speed.

Did I see the HMS Prince of Wales in the Japanese fleet? Not many ships have that distinctive blocky superstructure, and only one class has two quad turrets and a twin turret. Why was it attacked by American planes?

thats correct, because unfortunately the IL2 modelers got lazy and decided the only battleships they would model were the Prince of Wales and the Bismarck, passing the PoW model off also as the "generic American" and "generic Japanese" battleship :( wish they coulda put Nagato or Yamato in there, but the only Japanese ships in the game are subs/destroyers/lcvps

Thankyou, nope, not the battle of the Coral Sea when the Lexington was sunk, I just had to think of a spot in the Pacific where such a battle could take place and this was it, although this battle would have been later on in the war ;)
