This relates to Zelda ALOT: Teeth=Rupees Vorple Blade=Kokiri Sword Hoby Horse=Megaton Hammer Chesire Cat=Navi Alice=Link, accept she's a girl Paint=Heart Piece Golden Teeth=Red Rupees Pepper Gun=Bow and Arrow Bunny Bomb...Thingy=Bomb Tee Shooter=Bomb Arrows Wonderland=Hyrule (If anyone can think of anything else related to Zelda in this game, tell me by replying)
@09nintendofan I'm sorry but you're kinda an idiot. All games are like that with their currency and weapons, all games have at least one main weapon such as a sword and a range weapon such as arrows, magic, or in this case a pepper gun. Or are you just going around to all games and trying to connect them all to a single one?
@CaptainJetJakal I think it's because the other themes were concepts that had been eerily twisted to a darker tone. Whereas this Japanese/Asian theme isn't twisted, it's just very monotone and standard for lack of a better word. It might be because to most people in England in the time period the game is set Asian culture was alien and extraordinary all by itself. So to Alice these standard Asian themes, in her mind, are twisted and odd. Even though to us, they really aren't.
It's a nod to WWII history by the Chinese developers at Spicy Horse Shanghai. The entire level is designed to reflect the sino japanese war / invasion. So in some ways it serves more of a functional effect rather than a visual one.
Wonderland is supposed to be comprised of her mind so everything in Wonderland is based off something she had been to exposed to in her real life. At that time the East Indian Trading Company would be a huge presence in London thus giving Alice a taste of the orient and allowing her to create this part of Wonderland. Since it is so new and foreign she had no need to twist it as she had with the other areas because it is already strange and wondrous to her.
Thanks you explained it to me and you gave me a Britian history lesson at the same time
The Level really grew on me Later on i like the 2 D Parts the Samurai Wasps and the Ma Jong stones
I am pretty sure i will buy this game within the next 6 Months i love its graphics and artstyle and the game itself is a Rare genremix i dont understand why the game has such bad reviews : (

I'm not liking the asian theme so much as i did with the others. It's not as compelling as the previous ones.
