  • I'm trying this tonight for my dinner. I have never tasted Brie before! I'm looking forward to trying foods that I have never had before. Watching your vids, and making little notes really helps! Gives me a clear visual of portion contro also. I bought myself a pedometre I never realised how much I walk! Which also means it was obviously a dreadful diet that got me to this point! Thanks for all your vids! :)

    I'm sure you'll like Brie, it's mild and creamy. I don't eat the rind, as some do, so I just use the creamy part in the center. I just bought a new battery for my pedometer yesterday, walking is great exerecise that you can do without really thinking about it. I walk my dog every afternoon and it's just a little extra calorie burn.

  • @nalibouch I read an article in USA Today in March which says Brie is OK on Atkins, not sure about induction but I thought it was OK. Article title is: "Digesting the facts on the 'New Atkins' low-carb diet" YouTube won't let me post a link. It says, in reply to the advantages of the plan over others:

    "You get to eat delicious foods: butter, bacon, cream. If you like meat, seafood, avocados, nuts, cheese and brie, it's fabulous. And hunger suppression is one of the biggest advantages."

  • @ronyshofa I eat until just before I'm full and really watch portion size. Even before I started low-carb, I'd eat only a fist-size amount of pasta, only a few bites of a sweet dessert; and be very strict about my carb intake. Usually I won't even finish a whole chicken breast, maybe about 3/4 and save the rest for the next day. I love leftovers and food never goes to waste in my house.
