Those other Bibles come from completely different manuscripts(so they are not even the same book...one is God's words to us, the others are tampered with by men).

The Message has satanic terminology and some very scary passages besides.

KJV is 6th grade English,the others are higher levels. If you take a moment, thee and thou are NOT hard - and isn't God worth it?

It matters for many passages in studying.

It's really not archaic, we've just been told that over and over. It's legalize (the people of that day didn't even speak that way!).

My little ones understand it just fine...I think it's more an issue of bias and preferance, but...I will ALWAYS defend the Word of God (and I truly cannot say the other versions are His).

I read the Matt. 6:7 passage as meaning as God's will is done in Heaven, so it should be done here on Earth (which is the 'below'). I've known we have serious differences on matters for a long time. I'm fine to be friends and sisters in Christ and it would never separate me from you.
