nice dea, but sorry I do not see a dillemma here - only malpractice. Unless the patient in proper capacity or her proxy had expressed that she does not want to be treated, the nurse had to pursue beneficence and take care of the patient. This way she is just a difficult patient whom nurse neglected
My father was murdered by Hospice. Doctors will not testify against other doctors. They are as crooked nowadays as lawyers n politicians. Hospice took my 86 yr old father who was in good health when he went in, tied him w/ straps to his bed saying that was so he wouldn't fall out n hurt himself. Then they drugged him heavily with morphine so that he was unconscious for more than 24 hours at a time. Then put him on a starvation level of glucose, intravenously,until he lost 35lbs and died.
How about asking for restraint order?
