@phoenixfire2001- agreed, but I don't think the character is meant to be a transgender and I don't think the majority of audiences would see it that way. If anything the advert ridicules the WAG lifestyle, rather than the transgender lifestyle. Also, I'm not sure racial stereotyping is automatically in the same category as the stereotyping of sexual identity- neither is more significant than the other, but I don't think they can really be lumped together or compared. Anyway.. I liked the advert!

Thus, a man playing a woman's role is perceived as nothing else than a transvestite/transsexual unless it is obvious stand-up comedy or theater. This is neither.
