Thermite (Fe3O4)

That is Fe3O4, right?

Then I have 2 questions:

1: What is the mixture proportion? 1 part Al, 2 parts Fe3O4?

And 2: How are you igniting the Thermite?

Yep Fe3O4, the comp was 3.2 Fe3O4 to 1 Al.

It was lite with Mg shavings.

Try to use 25% Al + 75% Fe2O3 thats OB:)

im scarred of that stuff,one day i loaded it into a really thick cardboard tube,hoping it wouldnt melt through the tube,it acted like a fountain,until it consumed the whole tube and about 3 inches of the ground under it :P
