I am putting my vote in for a DVD of this tour. I would be first in line to buy it. And I didn't really like the Sunny Florida dvd. I am unable to go to a show because of medical/ anxiety reasons, but I LOVE this album. And I had become kind of disillusioned with her stuff post-Scarlet's Walk, until she surprised me with Midwinter Graces. And this album still has me dumbfounded with it's awesomeness. Aside from being gorgeous, it makes me feel creative.
I've been to her concert in Warsaw 2 days ago. At the very start I was quite surprised to hear some old songs in classical arrangement. But after a few minutes it showed to be a perfect and fully natural combination: her voice, the piano and the violins. Especially the guys from the Quartet did a marvellous job! So I'm going to listen again to her new album, which seemed to be a little boring... but maybe I just gave miself to little time to listen depply into. Tori is getting better and better.
God, I am so looking forward to see this live in NY. This is my favorite song so far of NOH, she rocks even while playing classical. She's wise enough to realize that we the fans have also mature so much, or enough, to appreciate what she's doing here. She's just magical for writing music and lyrics and reinvent herself once again. I am so grateful for her.
@MySensualWorld Are you kidding???? She sings beautifully here AND on the album. You must have a shitty stereo if you can't hear that. I agree that another DVD is in order... I'm still waiting for the DVD of the ADP tour. I want to see her sing Blood Roses as PIP on my 50-inch TV. I think I will have an acid flashback if that happens, lol. But seriously, Night of Hunters is the album Tori was born to make. Just keep listening. It reveals more with each listen.
I have complained a lot about her last records ad live performances being weak or bad. But this is marvellous: I'm so happy to find her in such great shape.
@Babooshko Brilliant! She does nothing but speak her divine truths, pour every once of energy she can conjure into these uniquely delicious pieces and share them with the likes of your critical ass. This is directed only at the critics. I've been listening to her since 1992 and I've never heard anything but genius, passion, beauty and absolute conscious streaming, emanating from her being. So full of juice. Perhaps you should go douche your ears , drop the ego, and have another go.
