I used a funny trick to clear this mission: you can attack General Krukov buidings before he becomes you're enemy with force attack (ctr+Left mouse click). With this trick you can easily weaken Krukov and make him very easy to kill. However the trick is a bit like cheating and the way cncguides does it in the video looks more professional, but it's still a fun trick. :)

i played this game on ps3 and cleared all the missions for all the fractions (Hard Difficulty). Now i'm trying to clear bonus trophies (easy difficulty) but got stuck on this mission.

The "build expension base" bonus objective keeps "uncheck" itself at the end of the mission. Anybody knows why?

The is an easy trick to defeat Krukov:

After he intereferes, build a few Engineers and place one next to each of his most important buildings. Immediately after he turns against you just capture his buildings and sell them - now you have a lot of cash and he can't produce units anymore.

Red Alert 3 was good in ways but it was kind of annoying that you didn't really have proper transports to lift tanks across water. I know the helicopter can but that's only one a time. I'd prefer 4 or 5 at a time like the Hovercraft from RA2. The ore truck driver now has the most boring job in the world :P All in all though it definitely had the challenge factor and fun factor I've been waiting for despite some of it's flaws :)

Ever since Red Alert 2 they just couldn't get enough of traitors Yuri, Vladmir (Though Yuri set him up) in the Soviet Campaign. In Red Alert 3 Krukov's fait is quite similiar as he was innocent but due to Chedrenko's increasing paranoia he wanted him eliminated and even faked an assasination attempt to frame him; then in a really interesting twist Chedrenko himself is the true traitor( which mirrors Yuri's actions).

do this if you wanna win

1 build a crusher crane to build quickly a battle lab

2 train natasha and 1 enginer before krukov is your enemy

3 get natasha near his vip bunker

4 get the enginer near his construction yard

5 when the news is up destroy his vip bunker by natasha

6 get your enginer in the contruction yard and sell it

7 now you can focus on the allies :D

Ive got nice strategy i made 2 bullfrogs and 10 engineers and when krukov appeared sended them to their places and capture his base, the mission were after that easy as hell. Oh, and i played on xbox 360.

This was a very hard mission, ive just finished after like more than an hour... when i had money at start i build up tons of tesla towers around the base and then build up tons of flak cannons around base too... but dammit this mission was a hella a fight :D

I finished this game on X360. This mission is easy if you know the way to neutralize Krukov. Just send him a few engineers and wait for his attack. You know what to do next :)

This is the hardest mission yeaahh because Krukov sucks and betrays you first! Second he takes your money and third i bankroot and got pinned down by Krukov when i finish with the ally base! My ally bankrooted too and when i order to finish the commando he just sends a bear to do it! Hate this mission because you play on water ! If i were playing on GROUND with ALL of my TANKS things were different!

when Krukov arrives, i build a couple tesla coils by his construction yard and super reactors, and i take out the reactors - all his base defenses go down, and when the time comes, i just destroy the construction yard, and if my tesla coild survive long enough, i take out his bunker

As for me, at the beginning, while I still have the money (10000+), I built an airfield then trained dozens of Twinblades. Before Krukov interferes, I got about 6-7 of them. Then I started rampaging the Allies' bases. Base defenses won't matter much judging from such a swarm. Plus, as I attack, I trained even more. I managed to destroy both bases even before Dasha slips in.

Anyway, I am also facing the same crashing problem after finishing the level. What should I do?

this mission is fucking hard i can believe it you must destroy krukov and allies it hard when i on this mission i forget to destroy the proton collider im busy fighting with krukov

It's actually pretty easy to take Krukov out. When his base first appears, build a barracks at the back of his base, between the ore refineries and the reactors. Build about seven or so engineers and place them near the reactors, shipyard, war factory, barracks, and construction yard. When he turns on you, just quickly go around and take over his base. Easy as pie.

that would be easy if you had money to spare remember you only get like 3k after krukov takes all of ur money.

If you don't spend much before Krukov shows up, you are left with plenty. All you really need to build at the beginning is some base defences and an air field. Build some migs and helicopters, and you'll have plenty of money for a barracks and engineers once Krukov shows up. You should even have enough to buy Natasha to take out his little palace thing once you take out the power. The allied bases are easily taken out by the helicopters.

Have you noticed that Krukov doesn't attack you before you won't attack him? An easy way to kill him is sended army next to his base and then attack! You must disabled "auto-attack"

Very easy mission. I capture usa superweapon and catture other base complete.

Then mix soviet and usa armys and the other base be easy to defeat.

damn thanks for this video... though i already completed soviet campaign on hard got all bonus objectives except this... and now i got it :P this was so easy mission. before krukov becomes ur enemy just take 5 engineers to his base... (barracks war factory construcion yard and powr plants) then he turns into enemy and just capture the buildings (tho u have to sell the construction yard)
