  • One question: If Warren has got his Bible right as regards the 40 days would you STILL submit to a man made system, a programme.

To me THIS is the central issue, not whehter or not it would take 40 days.

It is the legalist programme of human devising and imposition that is the threat, not some errors in detail about 40 days.

Being Dealt with by the Spirit is individualized and customized treatment, not by our devising but by His.

I fear you may have missed the point

  • the sound quality is better on this one. thanks for the suggestion. as much as i have heard so far confirms why i rejected the purpose driven life: it is legalist. I have not achieved any understanding of God's grace over a programme I practised over a set time, it has been 28 years of God's patient dealing with me since he re established contact with me in 1983 after I backslid into total legalism after conversion in 1978.

a set programme? this is all flesh.

    ANATHEMA!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Atheists and evolutionists are so afraid of facts & fair playing fields that some are impersonating creationists &spew streams of falsehoods to falsely malign them. The below is TruthLsLife7 trying to deceitfully impersonate me, TruthIsLife7. Acts like this are attacks on integrity & hinder truth, rational thought, knowledge & science itself. But, this is what atheism is entirely based on: fallacies, distortions of its rivals, and repression of free thought+emotional reasons to reject evidence.

  • @anamneses28 Just saying... gotta line up with the Word you know.

    -

FOR SURE! That's the only thing that matters. Here are 3 for starters.

    1) Romans 6:23 tell us that the wages of sin is death..not eternal burning.

    2) Malachi 4:1-4 tells us that the wicked will be ashes.

    3) Revelation 20:9,14,15 shows that the lake of fire is the 2nd death that devours all evil.

Another key point is that the Greek term "aion" and the English term forever can both refer to temporary OR eternal things

  • @anamneses28 I'm working on a very important new video script myself which I hope will be finished this month and then get working on producing it. So, if you subscribe, you'll get a notice about that when it is done and other videos I upload...I have MANY useful playlists...including the Bible health science one showing that people who follow Bible health principles live ~10+ years longer than others and one on hell, showing that the Bible doctrine of hell is final death, not eternal burning.

  • @TruthIsLife7 Final Death. Well we may not agree on everything (as I don't believe I agree with Berean Beacon about Pastor Warren, he's human and flawed so he makes mistakes like we all do) but I'm more than happy to check out your page and maybe subscribe. You mentioned some very interesting subjects that I've definitely been looking more into as of late. Thanks for the invite! :)

  • @anamneses28 Yes, Warren isn't perfect, but he's got a LOT of very good material...and no good work of God goes unpunished or uncriticized or unstraw manned by the devil who sometimes uses even well meaning but misinformed Christians to do it...very sad.

Here's the playlist on hell...and the note in the 1st video has 3 very good websites on that topic that explain it quite well..at different levels from laymen to somewhat scholarly and I have much more.

    view_play_list?p=7C4256A5E213CF24

  • @anamneses28 Evolution is not a principle or system of beliefs held to with ardor and faith. Evolution is a scientific theory that is supported by all observable evidence and contradicted by none. Unlike religion, evolution is not dependant on the claim of having esoteric spiritual knowledge. Also, evolution is an explanation of the diversity of life, not it's origins. Now that we've disposed of the bogus claim that evolution is a religion, I will ask you a question.

  • Just saying... gotta line up with the Word you know.

  • depending on context:

    "That test took forever"

    "God will live forever."

Same word, but time meant is VASTLY different...same in Greek and Hebrew. 50+ times in the Bible, "forever" refers to things that end (which explains why Revelation 20:10 is not contradicting vs. 9, 14,15 in the same chapter).

    God bless!

  • @anamneses28 Maybe you don't understand how youtube works. Leaving a message on @manuppowerup's channel isn't an effective way to communicate. It was by random chance that I decided to see if he had erased my post. Next time you have something to say to me, post it on my channel or reply to one of my comments on a thread. As a rule of thumb, just remember that if you're not on my channel and you don't click on reply, I can't read you.

  • @VOTRadio I have studied the critics of Warren for 100s of hours and nearly all of their attacks are false on a level of saying the holocaust never happened. I agree it would be better to have Christian medical experts advising people. But, it is based on the Bible, Daniel's diet to be specific. My denomination, Adventists has been teaching Bible health principles for over 100 years & much secular research shows it adds ~10 years to life. See my Bible health playlist videos 1-6

  • If you haven't seen,"The Case for the Creator", it's on my channel.Just search for it or go to the creation science playlist with that name.

Oh my stars...you call Warren the world's most dangerous pastor??? That is seriously false on a level of saying creation is the most dangerous doctrine. He is dangerous to unbiblical traditions, there I would agree. I don't agree with all he says doctrinally (he's wrong on hell, the Sabbath&a few other things)..but he follows God very closely&sincerely

  • One more note...readability can refer to 2 things...and the KJV pages I think are confusing them.

    1) How difficult a word is to read in terms of phonetic difficulty...which is unrelated to it's level of comprehension difficulty.

    2) The difficulty in understanding the meaning of the word.

I was referring to #2 and that's what all the Bible publishers I believe are referring to...your KJV sites are talking about #s of syllables...and that's simply not the big issue.

  • @BereanBeacon @BereanBeacon McLaren is part of the emerging church, a movement which Warren is not aligned with & has rejected in several aspects. There might be some specific things we agree with, but quite a few that you, I and Warren would disagree with. Have you seen “The Case for the Creator?” by Lee Strobel? REALLY GREAT summary of the evidence for creation. It was made by Lee Strobel who is a pastor at Warren’s Saddleback church. That should give you a bit of a clue.

  • @anamneses28 What is the purpose of telling people evolution is a religion?

  • @BereanBeacon there would be no King James Bible. If we think progress in truth stopped with the KJV or protestants 400 years ago, or even 100 years ago, we are not in line with scripture. We should not change truths that are solidly based on the Bible, but NOBODY is infallible…this means we should recheck things we grew up with and &be Bereans to new truths God has for us as well as deeper meanings in old truths. Some call this progressive revelation (the wiki definition of it isn't right).

  • McLaren is dead wrong that Christians should accept evolution. But, there is a kind of evolution that is critical...our understanding of truth...esp. new truth. If the disciples had not been willing to change their beliefs, nobody would be Christian. If Luther, Wesley, Calvin, etc. had not been willing to follow the evidence against the traditions they grew up with, nobody would be Protestants. If King James had not seen a need for change from the prior Bishop's Bible and Geneva Bible,

  • @BereanBeacon1

    1) That is the page I was referring to when I said the study ONLY checked the 1st chapter of 4 books..that is a deplorable study and it would be difficult to be more superficial.

    2) I can't find the original study of that anywhere. Do you have a reference for it? The sole and ONLY place you find that study is on KJV only sites...very unobjective. ALL the Bible publishers, including the KJV Bible publishers rate it at a 12th grade level.

  • Comment removed

  • Take for example these cases:

    3-4 syllables: unimportant,effective,humorous,original

    2 syllables: abase,firkin,betroth

    1 syllable: hoar, glean

The longer words are all far more well known and easy to comprehend than the 1-2 syllable words. Your av1611 site and others like it even have to provide dictionaries since THEY know the KJV has such difficult-archaic language sometimes. This is not rocket science.Last,NONE of these studies even mention the NLT or others Greek experts consider best.

  • I do not mean that you are deceitful in the comment below at all. Maybe those sites aren’t. But, whoever thinks that cherry picking intro chapters is a good way to check readability is simply ignorant. Also, nowhere is this study cited so I can go and check the original. That’s very suspicious. And Riplinger’s study…oh my stars…no sane linguist would ever dream of saying that the # of syllables of a word has anything to do with how easy it is to understand. That’s pure ignorance.

  • @BereanBeacon1 As I PMed you before, no English Bible is the original. They are all translations. And no translation is perfect. The literal translations miss a lot. The ones with the dynamic equivalence translation method are closest to the Greek and Hebrew ones (such as the NLT) in most cases..but it's good to look at several. Warren has disassociated himself from the emerging church and is no more a mystic than you are. He states unequivocally in his book that the New Age is Satan's lie.

  • @BereanBeacon a bit more "This desire to be a god shows up every time we try to control our circumstances, our future, and people around us. But as creatures, we will never be the Creator. God doesn't want you to become a god; he wants you to become godly-taking on his values, attitudes, and character.

  • @TruthIsLife7 Final authority is missing today in Christians circles and as a result Muslims and cults benefit greatly from this. They can prove we don't have the words of God using these modern translations and commentaries. I have an email from a Muslim demostrating how they do it. It is unfortunate Bryan that you are involved in the Warren movement as people that are with him say we don't need the Bible. Westcott and Hort invented the Greek text that is the foundation of those translations.

  • who is known to have compromised and been a time server. Lucian of Antioch redacted the manuscripts that became the textus receptus and he was the teacher of several of the leading Arians, which may be why in several places, such as John 1:18, the modern versions uplift Jesus divinity better than the KJV.

Westcott, Hort and Erasmus all did good work, but all were human and imperfect. The best translations (like NLT) use BOTH TR and Westcott/Hort.

  • @TruthIsLife7 Westcott and Hort used the Codex Sinaiticus and Codex Vaticanus (Catholic) which disagree in hundreds of places with each other and has nothing to do with the Textus Receptus. Even though Erasmus was Catholic he was against them and we have the documentation about that. We probably should stop as this as we cannot agree.

  • @BereanBeacon1 Final authority is with God alone. The Catholics thought they had the final authority and we know what happened there. Nobody on earth has final authority. I know what the Muslims say. But, for much of their history, they didn't have any translations and it enabled abuse by the elites just like it did under the Catholics.

Westcott and Hort did NOT invent the text at all. The textus receptus was put together by the Catholic Erasmus

  • @TruthIsLife7 With out a final authority this will happen. Eph 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

  • @BereanBeacon1 The final authority is the original thought that God gave to the inspired writer. The closer we can get to that the better. No, the Sinaiticus and Vaticanus do not have any more problems than the TR does (which would be far less than 1% and none of them endanger a Bible doctrine). There are 1000s of manuscripts and Bible scholars look at all of them not just the codex's. Modern translations are closer to the earliest manuscripts we have as is to be expected.

  • @TruthIsLife7 Bryan, just one final comment from me. Of the approx. 2500 existing manuscripts, about 98% agree with the KJV and the remaining 2% with manuscripts of the modern translations you support. We are so far apart on our sources that we no common ground except our salvation, I hope.

  • @BereanBeacon1 I would really like to see your evidence for that 98% claim. I've never seen any evidence even close to that claim.I have spent years dialoguing on this topic quite deeply &I also studied Greek for 2 years in university. My professor was extremely conservative and preferred the KJV as you do...I brought an NLT to the class (which had recently come out)..and time after time after time, the professor was surprised to find that the NLT matched the Greek of the TR better than the KJV.

  • @TruthIsLife7 I have to go, but try this, Dial The Truth Ministry.

  • The KJV is rated ~12th grade reading level.Bibles like the NLT are rated ~6th grade. If someone understands the vocabulary of the KJV&knows Bible idioms-culture,etc. the KJV can be God's word for them. But,I know firsthand&it's undeniable that the vocabulary of the KJV has been an obstacle to people understanding the truth.he whole POINT of translation is is to make truth understandable.Luther translated into street language.Much of the original was in street language so that ALL could understand.

  • @BereanBeacon1 The idea that the KJV is 5.7 and all others are higher is absolute fiction&I say this as a pastor, religion major&professor who has been teaching in the linguistics field for 17 years. The survey looks only at the 1st chapter of books which is usually an introduction. You wouldn't expect to see much complex vocab in those parts. Also, the NLT,etc.isn't even compared.Google: Bible translation reading levels

Then read from the Bible publishers like Zondervan their ratings.

  • @TruthIsLife7 This is a sad situation. The majority of "Christian" seminaries, colleges are apostate and pass it on to their students using the Greek flim / flam technique to correct the KJV. Bryan, you are a product of this this and were easy prey for the next step which is the Warren heresy. I know writing this will be the end of our relationship, but perhaps the Lord will open your eyes to the truth.

  • He uses the KJV sometimes and has a traditional service with hymns. You need your eyes opened to facts. Don't trust critics so easily as you do. They seldom tell the whole story and sometimes blatantly misrepresent it.

Writing this will not end our relationship. One of my best friends is a "KJV is the ideal" person and I've learned much from him and he from me. We can be brothers, but disagree. Someday I hope you will realize the St. James did not write the King James Bible.

  • @TruthIsLife7 OK Bryan. But we must move on and tell others about the free gift of God.

My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the Lord. Psalm 104:34

  • @BereanBeacon1 This is crucial. The KJV is NOT the standard. It never was, it's translators never claimed it should be and it is making an idol of English to claim it is so. The Bible authors wrote in GREEK, not English and that will ALWAYS be the standard. NO theologian conservative or liberal (and I'm far more conservative theologically in many areas than most are, including you) would ever make that claim. My position on translations has NOTHING to do with Warren at ALL.

  • @BereanBeacon1 I cannot overemphasize this enough..the GREEK and HEBREW and ARAMAIC in the Bible are the SOLE and ONLY authoritative texts. PERIOD. There can be no discussion or disputation of this. God did NOT give the Bible in English in the KJV. He inspired the original authors in THEIR language, not ours and so THAT TEXT as close as we can get to the original is the final authority on all matters of Bible accuracy. With due respect, people who call Greek flim-flam are very deceived.

  • @BereanBeacon1 I'm not liberal at all. I am far more conservative than almost anybody you know and I can list the ways after classes. But, I don't follow the conservatives without thinking and I don't follow the liberals without thinking. I do my best to be a good Berean and test the claims of both by what God says in the Bible. In terms of Warren, it doesn't matter whether you use KJV or NLT or whatever. He follows both better than almost all pastors I'm aware of.

  • @TruthIsLife7 Found this page from Dial the Truth. dotav1611dotorg/kjv/kjv_easydothtml about grade level.

  • For those who grew up with it and who are very familiar with Bible culture and idioms and meanings...it can be a useful Bible...but it is pure lunacy and outright deceit to say it's the easiest Bible.I used it when I was first a missionary in Korea.NONE of my English language students could understand it well.I tried the NIV (which I actually am not that supportive of), the Good News Bible and the NLT and the comprehension was LIGHT years better. I could list 1000s of verses where this is true.

  • @BereanBeacon1 I think you would benefit from reading some at this site:

    wwwDOTkjv-onlyDOTcom

I think that the KJV is more poetic and some find that meaningful and prefer it. It can be used by God just like other versions with their imperfections. But its antiquated language, improvements in translation knowledge since that time, and esp. its literal translation method make it much harder for modern readers to understand what the Gospel writers actually meant.

  • @TruthIsLife7 Well you got me again Bryan LOL. Using the Flesh-Kincaid grade level Indicator, the KJV is about 5.7 grade level and all other translations are higher. There are a handful of words difficult to understand, but nothing compared to the modern translations. To obtain a copyright at least 20% of the work must differ so simple one syllable words in the KJV end up being 2 and 3 syllable words. There are 64,000 words missing in the NIV and the word stylist was a lesbian.

  • @BereanBeacon1 It is unfortunate Bryan that you are involved in the Warren movement as people that are with him say we don't need the Bible.

    -

I admire much that you are doing, but guilt by association is a logical fallacy and if believed will spread false things about any organization, even God's. Lucifer was God's chief angel for example. Judas was Jesus disciple. Many others. I know for certain that Warren would instantly condemn ANYONE woh says we don't need the Bible. 100% certain.

  • @BereanBeacon1 P.S. to the below...I've listened to Warren a LOT and the people around him some as well...NEVER ONCE have I heard even ONE of them in any way say we don't need the Bible. I'm 99% sure that this is a complete fabrication. Possibly someone that Warren has never met or talked to that used Warren's book went to terrible extremes...this happened with Luther and many times in history to godly people as well. You don't judge people by the extremists. That's very unfair.

  • @BereanBeacon I have listened/read Rick Warren&his critics, BOTH sides very much in depth.I have found countless examples of misrepresentation of Warren by his critics no matter how well meaning or since. It's almost as bad as the misrepresentations of Christianity and creation by atheists. I have written responses to some of these critics showing how completely false their words are with primary evidence and in context. Warren isn't infallible at all. But, he follows the Bible better than most.

  • @TruthIsLife7 Hello Bryan, Which Bible? Rick Warren is into the mystic movement that has invaded churches all over the world and is very much part of the Catholic system. These verses apply to him.

  • Here's one of several quotes from him on this, "Let me be absolutely clear: You will never become God, or even a god. That prideful lie is Satan's oldest temptation. Satan promised Adam and Eve that if they followed his advice, "ye shall be as gods." Many religions and New Age philosophies still promote this old lie that we are divine or can become gods." The Purpose Driven Life, pg. 112

There are a host of blatant myths that his critics spout, but like this, VERY few are based on fact.

  • @TruthIsLife7 I spent literally years checking down the accusations of the critics of Rick Warren to see if any were true in them. ~95% were completely untrue&the rest would be true of any fallible Christian pastor. Most of the critics are afraid of moving away from traditions, not much different from the Pharisees of Jesus time and whether it's Warren or someone else, they often confuse church traditions with Bible doctrine, criticizing any who try to change traditions as enemies of doctrine.

  • The Bible says, "Take on an entirely new way of life-a God fashioned life, a life renewed from the inside and working itself into your conduct as God accurately reproduces his character in you."

God's ultimate goal for your life on earth is not comfort, but character development. He wants you to grow up spiritually and become like Christ. Christlikeness is all about transforming your character, not your personality.

  • science and religion is merging together forming new age ideas that were already known by the ancients and that is that we do have an effect on our suroundings by our thoughts When the scientists did the particle experiments the test results were influenced by observation

  • The lord has spoken...Only balls.

    SOS os fear of years

Not till it is held in your renouncing is it truly there

    may check is in themail...

  • According to your faith be it unto you. Rick Warren is not saying that 40 days is the only way to find ones purpose. It is just one way. For some people they may know their God given purpose by the age of 15 and for others at 47. It seems that anytime someone makes lots of money people become very critical. This to me is jealously and not of God. Peace.

  • @missVeemack

Our purpose is to repent and be born again and be reconcilled to God. There is no other purpose. Our purpose is not to rid the world of poverty, though we are called to do goood works for God's humanity. We are not here to made a better world, or craft a new Christianity. We are hear to be ambassadors to man on behalf of the Lord. We are not here to build the kingdom of heaven. God will do that by each heart that repents. He alone will heal the world. Our job is preach the gospel.

  • Billy Graham now preaches an open gospel of any way to God despite a knowledge of Christ or not. Very sad, Dobson too - what does this say about the deception that has come into the church and how convincing it has been. Warren is now in the occultic Un and works woth Tony Blair on his multifaith one world religious project - there is the fruit of this tree

  • Billy grahm has wasted 40 years plus of ministry with his stament with Robert Shuller. That its not Jesus anymore it doesnt matter who it is they just dont realize its Jesus "own interpretation" but yes BG denies JESUS is the only way to heaven

  • I meant East.

  • Are we His master or is He our master ......?

17" 'We played the flute for you, and you did not dance; we sang a dirge and you did not mourn.' 18For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, 'He has a demon.' 19The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, 'Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and "sinners."

  • I listen to Watchmen on the Wall. 1 Joh 4

  • The bible KJV tells us to expose the unfruitful works of darkness.may apostacy be revealed and people turned from their sins.

  • Something I feel is very strange, with all the huge buildings and oppulent grounds, I just read this morning Rick Warrens church is almost $1,000,000 in the red.

  • James says If its the Lord's will, we will do this and that....

  • TPDC movement is really selfish when you get down to it. What's in it for me, God? It's not right. The Bible says your gonna suffer as a Christian, and Rick Warren is telling you to unlock your potential as a person. Something's wrong with this picture.

  • The suffering is our human nature peeling off us and changing into the nature of Christ-holiness

  • zondervan publish this book to?? and the NIV also which is missing thousands of words. this publishing house is owned by Rupert Murdoch. This publishing house also print satanic bible and pornographic material... as Dr.Scott Johnson so wisely said..those of us who buy from Zondervan are funding the devil....

  • we are to be as wise as serpents and as gentle as doves. Thank you for this imperative expose of the truth.God Bless you.

  • In 2004, I had listened to a program on Christian radio with Dr Noah Hutch talking about TPDC, in a bad light. Well, I had just completed TPDC bible study and was not happy to hear this information. But, God kept nudging my heart to listen to this program. So, the next day, Dr Noah Hutch was completing this series on the deception of Rick Warren. From that program, I began to research this deception myself and found, wow, Rick Warren really is a deceiver, with so many other "Christian" leaders.

  • He prayed to Isa.

  • I'm looking forward to Part 2. Thanks for posting!

"President Barack Obama: Rick Warrens Blesses The Immaculate Deception, High Priest of Molech and Darwin"

  • On Google Search, type:

"Rick Warren's Global P.E.A.C.E. Plan vs. Scripture - A Documentary by James Sundquist , on Voice of Truth Radio"

It will be the first site at the top where you can read the entire book online. This is the sequel to Sundquist's first book: "Who's Driving the Purpose Driven Church? published by Southwest Radio Church.

  • Rick Warren is the most dangerous threat to the church who probably will weaken the church like no other enemy. Purpose Driven Life is a Trojan Horse.

  • Let me ask you (not intending to sound mean--please forgive me); Where in the Bible can you show me where the office (or position) of psychotherapist ? Sincerely, I would like to know, ironjohnlad. Shalom !

  • or car mechanic ? or engineer ? or office manager ? or van driver ? or tree surgan? many terms are not mentioned in scripture. But there have always been healers, prophets, and Isiaah talks about a baby who will have the title of 'wonderful counsellor mighty God, father of eternity'. There is no difference between a counsellor and a psychotherapist, save that as a pscyhotherapist I have a 'Level 7' qualification ( ie an MA ) agapé John

  • The Scripture does not say, father of eternity.

    It reads:

Isaiah 9:6 "For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."

If your Bible reads "father of eternity" it is an incorrect translation and is not trustworthy. send me a PM and ill show you why.

  • I was quoting this from memory ! Goodness the sense is the same !

  • ironjohnlad,

No. The sense between the 2 are not the same.

The translation that reads "father of eternity" is the Jehova's Witness's Watchtower Societies very subtle way of altering the Scripture in a way that denies the Deity of Jesus Christ.

Did you know that D-Con rat poison has only 0.005% poison in it?

Mark 8:15 Then He charged them, saying, "Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod." "A little leaven leavens the whole lump." Galatians 5:9

  • The original Hewbrew meaning for counsellor is one who gives wisdom and is not the sameperspective as we would read counsellor in health care today

  • well who is to say that people do not discover wisdom through counselling and psychotherapy ? Do you not believe that we are God Breathed, and that the closer we get to our transcendental self, the closer we get tot he wisdom of God, that he has placed in our hearts ? A literal tranlation of one of the psalms says 'search me in the kidnesy oh Lord and you will find no evil'.

  • The wisdom of the Lord is not the same as the wordly teachings of psychology . The wisdim of God leads to the glory of God- psychology leads to the glory of man. The "transcendental self" you quote is not Biblical- but an eastern idal. Biblical meditation focuses on the study and wonder of Gods word. Transcendence is an occult practice

  • I see we agree to differ ! What did people do before the Bible was written or collected together ? all truth is God's truth, and the apostle Paul states that we can know God through the wonder of creation. The author of the hebrews letter says that Jesus sustains all things by the power of his word ! That means you and I brother ! Si when we become bodily aware we get to the Christ sustained and spirit infused centre of ourselves ! Praise God !

  • Before the Bible was written there was not much time - Job is the oldest book-. I know what you are saying but you are speaking it in a new age mode which is open to misunderstanding. Jesus brings death to ou old selves and a new creation within our spirits when we believe in HIm

  • 1 Cor 1:21

For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

    KJV

  • Amen Jim

  • You are soo stupid!!!!! Where did Jesus come from? Esat, idiot, not West.

  • This was excellent!! A real shame it is that "Rick Warren" mania is sweeping through the world!! God help us!

As for the 40-day "transforming" myth, it is "observed" by many a nit-wit so-called Christian I know, even in real-life matters!!

NO 40-day "waiting period" transforms anyone who has not purposed for anything to be accomplished well before the very first day of said asinine "waiting period!!"

  • I agree with you that waren is wrong when he tells you to change the way you think ! Renewing your mind in the Bible, ( mind is not thinking, mind includes our 5 senses, the seat of our jusdgemnts, and the Bible has a whole body approach to the mind ! So rick is wrong about this ! I agree ! John

  • Youtube search this..

    Rick Warren Isa

Isa is the false Jesus of the koran and this man put Isa in a prayer as a name of Jesus in front of the whole world and the antichrist in power of the USA!

  • oh come on ! Even the Apostle Paul found a temple in Athens to the unknown God and then preached saying he had news of that God ! Jesus is the english verion of the greek, and the Greek work is a tranlation from the Hebrew !

  • Saul/Paul was converted to Christianity on his way to Athens by a spirit he did NOT form an unknown church to an unknown god!

The NT is the same as it was written.

Revelation was written by John and the earliest codex is 357AD and is 99% of what we read in the KJV today

    You spread lies!

  • I di dnot say he did, but when preaching in atens he came accross the temple to an unknown God, and used this in his preaching. Its in ACTS, but I would need to look up the chapter ! Goodness please read what I have said, rather than making assumptions ! John

  • Yes and he was preaching to pagans and therefore used the altar of the unknown God to preach Christ crucified instead of preaching in his previous Jewish context to other Jews. Therefore we should pay attention to the teaching where iilumination by any spirit is condemned- only Jesus Christ is the Truth

  • The truth is allah is a false god lucifer, or satan that has stolen much of the truth to mix with lies. Jesus is the only way to everlasting life. If you would check out the prophecies of the bible that have came true 100% the number is around 2,000. This should show the validness of the book. The spirit or angel visits to muhammad act like the demons of the bible. The God of the bible commanded that when a man and women marry they become one flesh. Not a man and wives. so much wrong with Islam.

  • I am a christian and a psychotherapist. There is nothing incompatable between the two. God after all created us, with our temprements, our abiity to love, to hurt, to reach out and reach in. At the heart of Jesus teaching is a love relationhsip, and as a psychotherapist my aim is to Love (agapé ) my clients and help then to agape themselves ! I am dyslexic as well !
